Core temp replaced my old furnace a few years ago and did a great job so when my air conditioning broke down I didn't hesitate to call them first. They answered the phone after hours and spent the time with me on the phone to trouble shoot the problem. When that didn't work they showed up on time for a service call and we're fast, efficient and friendly. It is surprising to have such great service in the residential heating/air industry.

After several uncomfortable warm nights in our home since our A/C unit stopped working, I asked a few friends if they knew of anyone good to fix it. That's when we found out about Richard at Coretemp. Well, he's not just good - he is GREAT! Not only did he first try and diagnose the problem over the phone to see if we could solve it ourselves, Richard was over in less than 20 minutes and it wasn't just a regular work day - it was today Labour Day Monday! Richard is a pleasure to talk with, extremely knowledgeable in his field, honest and is very reasonable. We will definitely recommend him to friends/family.

I was pleased with Richard's work last year so I asked him to come back to do my furnace maintenance today. Richard also did a carbon monoxide check for my hot water tank, my gas stove and oven. Richard is very knowledgeable, friendly, and trustworthy. I recommend him to others.

In October 2013 I had a high-efficiency furnace and humidifier installed by CoreTemp. For honesty and excellent customer service you can't do any better than Richard and his crew. The job was done on time and the work area left very clean when finished. I have recommended CoreTemp to family and friends and and will continue to do so.

It all started with some ice accumulation on our air conditioner unit. After doing my own research and trying to fix it on my own I quickly realized that this needed the attention of a professional. I began doing research on HVAC contractors. I found CoreTemp here on Homestars and read many of reviews and decided to call them in. Richard answered the phone, and after explaining the situation he arrived a short time later. He quickly diagnosed the problem, explained it to us and serviced the unit. He was prompt, polite, knowledgeable, honest and most importantly was friendly to our small dog who loves visitors. He never once pressured us into replacing our old air conditioner unit, instead gave us his opinion on our existing unit and discussed several options for us. One of the items the home inspector noted oh his inspection report (we moved in a few years ago) was that the furnace and AC were old and replacement should be considered in a few years. This note was came to my mind when I noticed the Ice on the AC. We asked Richard about replacements, and he provided us with all kinds of information, brochures, he basically gave us an education of various HVAC units pros / cons etc. What should have been a quick service call turned into a lengthy discussion, and not once did I see Richard look at his watch or phone. He came across as someone who loves talking to people about HVAC, someone who takes pride in his company and work, and someone who is very dedicated to creating lasting relationships with his customers. After the discussion I felt like this was a guy Mike Holmes would use at one of his Job sites. After doing more research we decided to replaced our furnace & AC and called Richard back. He was prompt like before and explained the work to be done, and answered more questions we had. After price & installation dates were agreed on, Richard arrived on time again, with his team. Installation went through without a hitch, and they left the area clean with no mess. We highly recommend CoreTemp to anyone. Thank you Richard & Thank you CoreTemp.

I noticed last night that my air conditioner blower started to make a rattling noise that was extremely loud. Having recently moved out to Milton, I did not know anyone out here who would be reliable and someone I could trust with my furnace and air conditioner. I found CoreTemp Heating and Air online through homestars and read fantastic reviews about the company and Richard. I called Richard Saturday morning and explained the issue. His first words out of his mouth were, "let me see if we can fix this over the phone so I don't have to charge you $100 to come over." Right there I knew he was reliable and honest. He ended up coming over 15 minutes after our phone conversation and fixing the problem, which was minor. Also, he checked over my furnace and gave me tips for my furnace and air conditioner unit for preventative maintenance as well. Richard was reliable, honest and personable. He never once tried to BS me and did not rush. I will only be using this company for any furnace or air conditioning issues from now on and I would recommend all who read these reviews to use him. It is so nice to see that there are still people out there who do not try to screw you or mislead to you. Thanks for your fantastic service.

Asked 5 companies to quote on a new furnace and AC for a home downtown. Richard was the first to reply, him and Janice followed up quickly to questions throughout the bidding process, and quoted a very reasonable price for the job. We hired CoreTemp to complete the work and they were again quick and efficient with scheduling and responding to requests. They arrived on time for the install and left a cleaner than they found it workspace when they were finished. We've had the system for about a week, and are very happy with the sizing of the unit, the amount of airflow and the functions of the wifi thermostat. I would highly recommend CoreTemp be included in the bidding process for any heating and AC job you are looking to complete in your home. They were universally excellent in all regards and we are very happy to have chosen them for our project.

THE BEST - I bought furnace and air con system from these guys 5 years ago - runs great - had them out to service - they were fast, on time, fixed it up jiffy quick for much less than i thought, AND advised I would probably need to top up air conditioner freeon for about 125 bucks, but then advised didn't need it and it was fine - they are honest guys! Can't go wrong here :)

I had noticed a pooling puddle under my furnace that wasn't going away, as well as my electronic filter making erratic clicking noises - much more than is regular, and decided it was time to have someone come to take a look. I was able to book an appointment via e-mail with Janice for the following day, and Richard arrived right on schedule to look at my system. He performed the work quickly and professionally and was able to offer me tips for how to prevent the issue from happening again going forward. It was a pleasant experience from start to finish, and I wouldn't hesitate to call them again.
