We found Carmor Construction on HomeStars and talked with Rob a few times before starting the work. Rob is honest and reliable and takes great pride in the work he does. It's obvious he works on your house as if it were his own. Perhaps not the cheapest option out there but I think his quality workmanship is worth the extra cost. The work he did to build a beam, posts and railing to support our porch overhang is excellent and greatly adds to the overall look of our house. I would not hesitate to recommend Rob to a friend.

Rob (and Carmor Construction) did a great job replacing/staining my front porch last year. Rob is an "old school" builder who takes considerable pride in his work. He will not be the cheapest option out there and at times he can be 'crusty' but he is always fair and you will know where you stand with him.

I found Rob to be honest and reliable, and his work is of the highest quality. It is obvious that he lives by his own motto: "Do the work as if you were working on your own house". I also found him and his brother, Dave, to be courteous and well mannered. They completed the work to my satisfaction and would not hesitate to recommend them to a friend. Thanks guys! John

Attention to detail, solid workmanship, fair project pricing and excellent communication are why you should call Rob at Carmor. We had both our front porch and second level balcony railings redone. Our railings had rotted through - the damage was worse than expected and created more challenges as they started the work. Due to the damage on the second floor balcony (which is overtop of our front entrance roof), Rob had to do some restoration work which saved us $1500- $2000 and a big hassle in calling in a roofing company. The results are great and we are very pleased with the work. Carmor didn't subcontract - Rob and his brother Dave did all the work. They were flexible, trustworthy, and honest. Cost of the project was competitive and reasonable considering the time they had to put in to fix things properly. When they finished the project, their work area in our garage was left extremely clean. I would highly recommend Rob and Carmor Construction. Rob is worth calling to speak to him about your next project - he knows his stuff.

We hired Rob to replace a deck on the back of our house along with new stairs and a small section of an area which required roofing. We were very please with the results that Rob did. Although it took a little longer than expected due to Rob having to find someone new to dig the post holes as well as enduring several days of a heat wave we were glad to have the job done and have a great looking deck.

Rob did a wonderful job! His quote was competitive, he was reliable, personable, professional and checked in with me every step of the way. The project was relatively small but he treated it like he was building the Tah Mahal. I recommend Rob and Carmor to anyone. You won't be disappointed!

I contacted Rob after reading positive reviews on Homestars. We had a relatively simple project. Rob responded right away with a very competitive and fair quotation. After a few rain delays we now have a great privacy fence. Excellent carpentry and service. I highly recommend Carmor Construction.

Early May I had Rob start work on enclosing my front porch. The job included removing and replacing the existing ceiling with insulation, installation of 6 windows, new door and an insulated raised floor. Happy with the quality of work and service, will be using Rob to replace existing back porch as well as building a new deck. He's a straight-shooter, at a fair Price!

Happy with the end product which was exactly as discussed (and proposed) and completed in a timely manner. Some communication issues at first, but overcome. Would recommend Robert for quality carpentry work.

We were in dire need of a carpenter who does exterior trim work around 2 box windows and porch overhang. I read the reviews about Rob and decided to call. We were not disappointed!!
