We found that we had asbestos pipe wrap in our basement. We called Accu-Star to help us they gave us a estimate which we liked and started the removal three days later I was very surprised at how many steps were involved the crew supervisor Steve was able to answer all of my questions and they were able to finish the work by the end of the day. I would highly recommended Accu-Star

Our basement got flooded in the late summer and we decided to demo the basement and remodel we looked at a number of companies and decided to hire Accu-Star. The crew was great it was a lot of work and a number surprises were hidden behind the walls but they were able to deal with them without having to increase the price. We would recommend Accu-Star to anyone who needs demolition work done.

We found that water had been leaking into our basement through a window causing the area to mold after reading the good reviews about Accu-star we called them to give us a estimate. We agreed to the price and they started work the next week the crew was knowledgeable and answered all of my questions and recommended contractors to do the reconstruction.

We decided to demo our basement and have it remodeled after it was flooded. We got three quotes Liz from Accu-Star had the best price and value for our money she did a great job of keeping us informed of each step and any issues. When the crew was done the area was clean and ready for reconstruction. I would highly recommend Liz and the Accu-Star team.

I had an old house that I wanted to sell and the plumber pointed out to me that the old hot water heating pipes in the basement were covered with asbestos like with all old houses with hot water heating. They did a really professional job, on time and great staff.

This passed summer we purchased our home in downtown Toronto just before the July flood. We had a serious roof leak which started mold growth in our second floor ceiling and attic. We call Accu-Star and Jenifer was very helpful and patient with all of my questions. The next day Nev and Terry came and inspected the attic and second floor ceiling they made recommendations and did a great job of keeping us calm they e-mailed us an estimate and was able to schedule us in before the end of the week. When the crew arrived the guys doing the work were very knowledgeable as I had a lot of questions and they were able to complete the job the same day. I would recommend this company.

Using Accu Star was an easy and great choice. There was a flood in the basement like a lot of us experienced this summer. We had 4 contractors come in and give estimates. Elizabeth was the only one who really did a complete inspection and determined that it was very specific areas that were at risk for mold. All others specified that the whole basement had to be completely sealed and given the full treatment. Upon my own research it was quite clear that this was not the case due to materials, waterproofing etc. Thank you Elizabeth. The team showed up on time and were able to get the work done faster than expected. This was reflected on the final bill. Everyone from Jennifer helping out with billing, Elizabeth doing the initial inspection, to the guys doing the work were completely professional and a pleasure to deal with. easy to recommend them.

If you are looking for a truly trustworthy AND affordable contractor, call Nev. I am so glad I did! When it comes to hiring contractors, the consumer must always constantly navigate the waters with caution. However, Nev stood out to me instantly as a beacon of light -- not only is he clearly competent and knowledgeable, but someone to be trusted to look out for your very best interests, not his own. His recommendations are clearly guided by the highest ethics and concern for his clients -- in other words, he is a really good guy. Not only that, his pricing is very affordable compared to other quotes I received! He does not overprescribe or oversell. My situation had been urgent, in that I was considering having crawlspace in my basement excavated that weekend and needed asbestos testing done asap earlier in the week before proceeding. Nev and Terence came by right away and addressed my fears re: asbestos. That aside, Nev was personally concerned that I was making the wrong decision in excavating my basement, and went out of his way to arrange that a top-notch contractor he knows of speak with me immediately for free advice before I proceeded too hastily on the excavation/underpinning itself. We needed a company to demolish our 1950's cottage which was a 1000sqft. single level and had not been lived in for 3years. Mike and his team did a great job of surveying the property and doing the environmental report (DSR) in there report they found that there was mold and asbestos wrapped pipes. They did an exceptional job on the removal of the mold and asbestos. They arrived on time each day, worked very hard and completed the removal, demo and cleaned-up of the house and surrounding area in two weeks. I would highly recommend the Accu-Star team to anyone .

After reading the reviews and seeing the Accu-Star crew on HGTV's Income properties I decided to go with Accu-Star. Riaz was a big help he gave me an estimate and showed me ways to save money on the estimate "What company does that" The crew was on time and demo the kitchen so that we could start our renovation When the demolition was compete Steve the crew supervisor found and removed two ducts that were wrapped in asbestos. It was nice that we did not have to find another company to do the asbestos removal The crew was polite and left the area very clean. Thank you Riaz and the crew for all your help.
