Install or replace roof: Replace roofing; More than 600 sq ft
These guys are excellent. Chris, the owner, came out to see the project and provided us with a detailed professional quote. We had a leak and he was able to tell us exactly where it was without even going up on the roof. We replaced all shingles on our entire roof. Their price was reasonable, but even more important was the professionalism and confidence I had in Chris's experience and commitment to quality. There workers were friendly, efficient and did a great job keeping the property clean. Jan was very accommodating to our schedule and they even worked through the weekend to get it done for us. All in all the roof only took 3 days to complete and that included a 1/2 day rain delay. Highly recommend this company.

    Roofing

I have waited a long time before writing this review, hoping that Roof Pro Plus, specifically Jan, would resolve my issues with them. I have made so many unanswered/unreturned phone calls, that I can no longer waste my time on them. Things began well. The company did a great job shingling the main house roof after it was damaged during the tornado of May 2022. However it was discovered that part of the porch being reshingled had been pulled away from the structure and work, rightly, stopped. Communication with the company was reasonable at this point. They credited money that we had paid for possible repairs. Unfortunately insurance and subsequent visits by engineers, took seven months before the okay was given to go ahead with the work. I began calling Roof Pro Plus in May 2023 to advise them of the status. At this point they still had the insurance companys $2500. plus tax for the uncompleted porch work. (They were also committed to shingling our sunroom roof but fortunately we never gave them money for this.) Their salesperson did return in July 2023 when the repair was complete and provided a new quote. The salesperson came by again later in the summer and was to provide a new quote for the sunroom roof but nothing has ever materialized. After countless unanswered and unreturned phone calls we finally contracted with another company which has been very responsive and has now completed the work. After realizing that they were never going to complete our work, I left a voicemail as well as a comment in their chat line a couple of months ago- since I seem to be unable to actually talk to someone, asking for the $2500. plus tax for the porch roof work to be returned. I have heard nothing. The insurance company advised me last week that they will be turning this matter over to their legal department for resolution. Perhaps then monies will be returned. We can only hope. I have given them a 3/5 rating for work done, since in fairness their initial work was good, but a 0/5 for whether I would recommend their services- not worth the aggravation. Ignoring paying customers, particularly when they have been overpaid, is terrible customer service.

Jill, I am confused, we had several conversations about this issues once it was escalated to me I agreed that it appeared that there should be credit on file to be used when the other roof was done, which we spoke about. Which by the way was quite convoluted to figure out due to the timing and insurance processes to determine when the porch was ready to do and the same amount being charged for another part that was done. I do not have a signed contract from you to proceed with the other work? I do not have any voice mail requesting the credit back either or any further discussions from you? My understanding was that Dean gave you the estimate for the other roof that needed to be done for the solarium and we were to do with the porch roof. Thanks Jan

    Install Asphalt Shingle Roofing
Needed a metal roof replaced, new plywood installed and new shingles laid. Job was well done. I had some minor concerns and they were dealt with promptly and satisfactorily. I would recommend this roofing company!

New light grey eavestroughs and soffits to go with the roof

We think our new, light grey roof is cool, literally and esthetically, but the effect of also changing the eaves, soffits and downpipes for ones of a complimentary colour has been transformational for this 35 year old house. We now have gutter guards, too, which help to deal with the leaves from the maple and oak trees in the backyard. The old dark brown trim made the house look dated, and with the old dark brown shingles the second floor was always hotter in the summer than the first: as I write this it is 33C in the shade, and the house is comfortable everywhere. I think the roof guys did a good job, but the two guys who created and installed the eaves, soffits and downpipes were artisans: it was almost magical watching 10M long sections of eaves troughs (25% wider than what used to be here) being extruded out of the back of a 7M long truck! I should mention that Todd, our salesman, suggested that the downpipe at the front of the house, which used to form a skating rink over my driveway in the winter, could be moved to the other side of the front door, emptying into the garden instead - and it works to move the water sideways, even in a heavy rain. The work that Roof Pro Plus did here is awesome!

    Roof Replacement

A previously repaired roof ( not by them ), was again leaking, and I realized roof replacement was inevitable. I contacted three companies for pricing. Todd Vail was out here the next day, and was a pleasure to deal with. The cost was what I was expecting, and when he said they could get it done on the Monday, only 3 days later, I jumped at the opportunity, as heavy precipitation was forecast for the week. The crew was great, and the job went off without a hitch. I work for a contractor - I know what dealing with one is supposed to feel like, and this company checked off all the right boxes.

    roof

I paid $5,760 in cash, and my ROOF can only last for 3 years. I called them every year to fix my roof.

    Answer from pro:

Tim, you have a severely under insulated attic which has extreme heat loss causing condensation in your attic which is leaking into your house. You have been advised of this situation for years but you refuse to accept or remedy it. We have been back there several times once redoing the bottom 6ft of your entire roof adding 6ft of ice and water to mitigate the ice damming issues you are experiencing, at absolutely no extra cost to you. You must ensure you have vapour barrier intact and top up your attic insulation to prevent further heat loss causing condensation.

    Window glass replacement

Excellent first visit to measure the window glass to be replaced. The second visit a couple of weeks later was for the installation. Couldn’t ask for a better job. Well done by Jeremy and assistant. Bob
