Needed a complete panel change from a 50 year old panel to a more current breaker panel. Sent a request for quote through the site and from those who responded it was clear from the start that Steven From CLI is not only a trained Professional but also fair and honest. Not only did he ask the right questions, asked that I send a picture of the panel and knew right away what was needed, he also had the most reasonable quote. The work was competed in one day, including full mapping of the new panel and all of it done in the most calm and professional manner. Was a pleasure working with you. Thank you so much!

Steve B. Responded quickly to my call out. He was very polite and considerate of home security and environment. The switch had not worked for years so took some investigating. Our smoke alarms started ringing occasionally in early January, but we didn't find anything wrong inside our house. Finally one night in February, the alarms wouldn't stop ringing and the blaring noise of our three smoke alarms was driving us crazy! So, I went online to HomeStars Brampton looking for an electrician and left voice messages for a few to call us ASAP. Thankfully, Steve of CLI Electric called us quickly, and he came right over and advised us that our smoke alarms had expired. So Steve replaced our old smoke alarms that had been electrically installed by the builder twenty years ago with three new Smoke & Carbon Monoxide Detectors in our house! Finally, thanks to CLI Electric and Steve, we didn't have to listen to that annoying noise all the time, and we felt relieved knowing that our house wasn't about to have a fire! The next time the new alarms rang, it was due to grease in the oven, and the alarms worked as they should to alert us to the problem, but thanks to Steve, they turned off right away, too! Thank you, CLI Electric and Steve for helping us to feel safe and secure in our house again! Steve was efficient, very knowledgeable, professional and helpful! We definitely will use CLI Electric again!

Our en suite in-floor heating system failed during a recent cold-snap. It was bad enough that ice was gathering inside our windows and our pipes were freezing. I called CLI Friday afternoon in a panic and they were the only contractor willing to send someone that day. Steve came by at 9pm after working late on another project (the fact he was willing to do this on a Friday evening, when he had another hour-long drive home after, was incredible). Steve was polite, courteous and thorough. Most importantly, he fixed the problem. We were very pleased. I cannot recommend CLI and Steve highly enough. They're my ne "go to" electricians.

I had a sparking junction box in my basement laundry room. It was Thanksgiving weekend and I sent out several inquiry emails on Sunday morning not expecting a response until Tuesday. I was pleasantly surprised to hear back from CLI Electric on Thanksgiving Monday! Steve came to do the work a couple of evenings later. He was running a few minutes late and called to let me know, which is always appreciated. He fixed the problem within 30 minutes and was meticulous, informative and personable. I felt very much that I was in good hands and wouldn't hesitate to call CLI again for any electrical issues. Highly recommend!

Needed help with the installation of drop-lighting in the dinning room. Steve arrived ontime and took tremendous care of the existing furniture. He offered great professional advice and was meticulous in his work. Highly recommend CLI.

Squirrels in our roof bit through a wire, causing almost our entire third floor to short out. This is a Victorian house, which has gone through several major renos, and from which the knob and tube wiring was recently removed--so the wiring was not exactly straightforward. First things first: the fellow from CLI came quickly (the next day), and exactly on time--absolutely no runaround. He patiently tested every outlet and every switch to pinpoint the location of the short. He had to call in a second man to help with this process. We were afraid we were looking at a major project involving holes in the wall and ceiling to replace the circuit. But they made a big effort to find a safe workaround, which eventually they did by connecting to the only working circuit on that floor. They checked it for safety and everything's working fine. Steve and Adam did an excellent job. They were very professional, ensured all work performed was to code, arrived as scheduled and very accommodating to changes we made. I would not hesitate to recommend them or use them for future renovations.

I called cli electric for a quote on upgrading my fuse panel to a breaker panel and also adding some receptacles in the basement. I called this company after reading the reviews on homestars. The quote was good and they came and completed the work, and did a nice job of cleaning up when they were finished. We are very happy with the work, and would recommend this company to people needing this type of work done.
