Excellent experience overall. Good workmanship. Great prices. Very considerate men while in my home. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for trusty electricians. We had numerous jobs for them to tackle as we have an old house. Happy with everything completed.

The guys did a great professional job. Showed up at the allotted time. Cut less holes than I expected and cleaned up all the drywall dust. Quiet and Professional!!!! They even used their cell phones instead of yelling back and forth in the house!

Not much to say other than Steve and his guys are great. On time, clean and friendly. In what was a very complex overall job (complete basement underpinning and main floor gut), CLI brought ease to a very stressful project by showing up on time, sticking to the budget and sticking around to ensure their work was done not delaying any other trades..All work was approved/stamped by the ESA inspector. All this at a fair price. If all trades followed CLI's common practices, the home improvement world would be better off. I would have no problem recommending CLI to a friend and will definitely be using them on my next project. Keep up the great work!

We undertook a major renovation of our new home early this summer and we are absolutely thrilled with the results. We found Steve and his team here on Homestars. We recieved about 5 estimates and his was on the higher end of the scale but not the most expensive. We are so happy we didn't go with any of the low ball quotes, they just didn't seem possible with what we wanted. Steve and his team were professional, meticulous, and very very courteous. We changed a few things along the way with the basement renovation and they handled it all very graciously. Bela is real character and a gentleman!! Steve you truly out did yourself!! I can't say enough positive things. No corners were cut, they used high grade materials and it shows in the end results. We love our Contrast pot lights and we get so many oohs and ahhs from family and friends when they see our basement. There's a reason they are in the Best of Category. Look no further and call Steve. I will be recommending him to everyone!!!

My wife and I had recently purchased a home(built in 1930)and knew that we would have to upgrade the electrical(K&T)and service(60 to 100amp),which insurance recently required that we complete this. I had sought out a few electrical contractors and found CLI to be the most reasonable in terms of price. Here is my experience. Steve who owns the company would oversee the project while his employees, Adam and Justin performed the majority of work. Steve is very knowledgeable and experienced when it comes to electrical work and knowing the pertinent codes. The same is said about Adam. Justin was learning the ropes but really understood and picked up the knowledge quickly. Here is what I have to say: 1. They were always prompt in arriving each day and would often work 11 hour days (only taking an hour break for lunch) 2. Incredible work ethic (although the majority of the time I had 2 workers, when other individuals came they were very diligent) 3. Incredibly polite, always asking me first if they felt that anything they did would impact my wife and I (ie. drill extra holes, moving outlets etc...) 4. Always picked and cleaned-up after themselves 5. No shortcuts, everything was done to CODE. The previous owner had done shortcuts and CLI were insistent that the work be done properly and not ignored (also hardwiring carbon monoxide and smoke detectors) 6. They set-up the ESA inspection. Not only was the inspector impressed at the workmanship the electrical passed and CLI promptly returned a copy of the ESA certificate that I could pass on to my insurance company All in all I had a very positive experience in dealing with CLI Electric. And one final point. I had mentioned to Steve that I needed the outlet covers for the ones they added and replaced (they were left off so the inspector could see that they were upgraded). He came on Sunday on his day off and dropped off a box for me. It's the little things that really make a difference. I have no hesitations in reccomending them.

This is the second time I've asked Steve to do some electrical work and it was the first time at our new home. He was clear and very honest from the beginning. He not only did the work properly he also organized the appointment to have the electrical inspector check everything over. I highly recommend him.

Steve and his company CLI Electric were referred to us by friends that had him rewire their home last year and highly recommended him. We recieved quote from a few other companies as well and decided to go with CLI Electric. Steve's crew were very professional and finished the job in record time. My husband and I are very happy with their work and will be calling them back in the near future to install some pot lights.

We've hired CLI to install new fixtures and change old outlets/switches. Work was excellent fast and they got a inspector to come and approve the work to code. I find CLI a professional experienced electrical company. Would recommend to anyone.

I am very pleased with the work completed by CLI Electric. Steve, Joe and Adam are super nice guys, they always had a smile on their faces, they were also polite, clean and respectful. The work I had done was finishing my basement, they did all of the wiring as per code and also installed pot lights throughout as well. The inspector came out and everything passed his inspection with no issues whatsoever and I recieved the inspection certificate. My kids now have bright, safe and warm area to play. I own several rental properties in the Toronto area and when I acquired a new property the insurance company indicated that the knob and tube had to go. A collegue of mine referred me to the homestars site which is similar to angies list here in the states. We decided on Steve because he was the one that spent the most time walking through the house and checking everything out during the estimate process, plus we recieved a professional estimate from him outling the work to be done and the cost involved, not hand written like some of the others we got. He had his team were very professioal, clean and courteous. They completed the job and time and stuck to the quote. A recieved the inspection certificate the following week and sent it along to my insurance company. All in all it was a pleansant headache free experience for me and I will be using Steve's company for any electrical work I need done in the furture. It's nice to have found a contractor that I can rely on and most importantly trust.
