Steve and Kevin did and excellent job putting up more than 20 potlights in our home. The workmanship is impeccible, they put down drop sheets to protect our furniture and flooring, cleaned up when they were done and removed their work shoes when entering our home. Very respectfull, clean and professional. I'd recommend CLI Electric in a heartbeart to everyone. The price, qualtiy and service was excellent.

Friends of ours had work done by Steve last summer and when it came time to do our electrical they highly recommended him to us. We gave him a call and he came to our house a few days later and inspected our electrical and provided us with some recommendations. Steve was very honest with us, something that a couple of other contractors were not, they told us we had to rewire our entire house because aluminum wiring was a fire hazard. Steve put our worries to rest when he assured us that this was not the case and explained the reconditioning process to us. What a sigh of relief and a breath of fresh air! Needless to say we are very thankful to have found Steve. The work was done in about 2 days, Steve and Kevin were very professional, polite and clean.In the very near future we will be having more electrical work done on our house when we renovate our kitchen, and plan on hiring Steve again.

My husband and I bought our first home last fall and we had no idea what was in store for us, mainly the knob and tube wiring issue. Our real estate agent recommend we check out Homestars and so we did just that. After getting about 5 estimates, we felt Steve was the most experienced, just the fact that he actually walked through the entire house checking all of the electrical and explained to us what he had to do to bring everything up to code is what impressed us most. When the inspector from the ESA came to inspect everything he actually complimented Steve on the excellent job he did...WOW!!! We are so happy with CLI Electric and recommend them without hesitation.

We had a surge protector put in, our fuses changed to the breakers and we had a light that wouldn't work. Steve and Kevin came in on time, were very courteous (took off their shoes every time they entered the house), were clean and did a great job with the work. Steve was very patient and showed us what was wrong and how to work everything. I highly recommend them. thanx guys!!

These guys did a fabulous job. I had CLI Electric and a few other contractors out to give me an estimate and Steve was the most professional and he was very thorough in explaining to me what had to be done. The price was very fair and included the patching all of the holes. I am very happy with CLI Electric and I know I chose the right company. I have already recommended them to my co-workers and family and I recommend them to you as well.

We've been having ice build-up in an eavestrough that resulted in an ice damn on our roof last winter so I posted a request for tender for a solution on the Homestars website and Steve from CLI Electric responded. He gave us a quote for the supply and installation of an automated electrical ice melting system and he and his team performed the work days later in frigid temperatures. Steve and his team were professional, polite and carried out the project as promissed. We have no problem recommending him to anyone requiring an electrical contractor.

We put off installing pot lights in the spare bedroom of our mid-town Toronto condo because our 2005 pot light project was a saga of damage, delay, price gouging, and unscrupulous practice. Our 2009 experience with CLE Electric could not have been more different. We discovered CLI Electric through their user-friendly website. Our emails were promptly returned, a site visit was arranged, we were listened to with respect, the job was quickly sized up, a reasonable flat-rate price was offered and a date within two weeks was set. Steve arrived promptly, was courteous and respectful. The job was done efficiently, as contracted, within one day. No surprises, only calm professional service. We only wish that we had discovered CLI Electric sooner.

Steve and his team did an exceptional job replacing the old knob and tube wiring in our house and bringing everything up to code. He kept us informed every step of the way and the holes they had to make in the walls were repaired professionaly. Overall we are extremely impressed with CLI Electric and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

We bought our house in early spring and were pleased that we didn't have to really do to much updating. Well long story short we were duped by the sellers, all of the "renos" were of the lowest quality. We called Steve in to inspect the electrical and he went through and pointed out code violations everywhere. We were so shocked since we did have a home inspection done, but we later found out that the "inspector" is "related" to the sellers. I asked Steve to open up the finished basement walls and the wiring was a disaster, a fire waiting to happen. Steve gave us an estimate and we had a few others out for estimates as well. Steve's price was in the middle and we were very confident with his expertise. He pulled a permit and surprise surprise no permit was pulled previously. He and his team came in and did an amazing job. My wife and I now feel safe in our home and we are fixing some other issues right now that are not electrical. We strongly suggest that you call CLI Electric for any electrical work you need to have done. They are true professionals and the best in the trade.

We had Steve come out to do various small electrical jobs around the house. We had him install outside GFI plugs, hang some new fixtures and add some additional outlets inside as well as put in a new bathroom fan. He was professional, precise, courteous and an absolute gentleman. We have him give us an estimte to install potlights and have already scheduled him to come back in January. We would'nt dream of using anyone else and have recommended him to family and neighbors. We highly recommend Steve to everyone.
