My experience with CLI electric was fantastic. I had old knob and tube to be taken out and replaced with new wire and I also needed a service and panel upgrade to 200amps. I initially spoke to Laura in the office, she was very pleasant and helpfull. I told her I was taking a few days off work to meet with contractors and she was very acommodating in getting Steve here on the day I needed, especially since they are so busy, which is a good sign. Steve came and walked through my house, which I just bought, and gave me some options which I really liked, he also explained what was needed to bring the electrical up to code and to be safe. I saw 5 electrical companies that day and although Steve's price was not the cheapest I was very comfortable with him and his expert knowledge. The others just didn't go into detail like he did. I called him back the next day to get him scheduled for my job and the wait time was about 2 weeks, as I said he's busy which is a positive sign for any contractor, meaning that they are in high demand for a good reason. I realized he had other jobs on the go and therefore couldn't be there every day, which in my experience in dealing with contractors is a good sign that they are a professional company. Anyone who can start the next day and be there everyday for 2 weeks is a red flag (ie. why are they not that busy). Steve and his crew completed everything in about 3.5 weeks and everything passed inpsection with no problems whatsoever. They were very professional and cleaned up thoroughly afterwards. I highly recommend Steve to anyone looking to have any type of electrical work done, he is the electrical guru!!

My husband and I decided to renovate our home this summer and we hired CLI Electric to do the electrical. We had our panel and service upgraded to 200amps, 60 potlights, new switches, receptacles, new fixtures throughout and some landscape lighting. We are very happy with how Steve and his crew completed the job. They used drop sheets when doing the potlights and cleaned up at the end of everyday. They were very professional and considerate of our home. We plan on putting in a hot tub next spring and we will have CLI Electric back to do that for us as well. We highly recommend them to everyone. Just remember they are always busy so you may need to wait a few weeks or so before they can start.

I would like to express how impressed I am with Steve. He did an incredible job installing our potlights and dimmer switches. He was referred to me by my friend Roman who sang many praises about CLI Electic. I wouldn't hesitate recommending Steve to family, friends and everyone else, he is a super nice guy and an excellent electrician.

Steve was referred to us by a friend that had Steve do his house renovation and I couldn't be more pleased with the results. He was quick, precise and very professional. I had him install potlights in the living and dining room, hallway and kitchen, he also hooked up our hot tub. Everything passed inspection by the ESA with no problems. Steve is a great guy, very friendly and a pro at what he does. I highly recommend him anyone looking for a really good electrician.

Earlier this year we bought a house that needed some TLC. We completely gutted the entire house so that we could create our dream home and with Steve's help we did just that. We had him remove all existing electrical and replace with new wiring, panel and service upgrade etc. Needless to say during the process we encountered some previous wiring which was scary (I like to call them my "holmes on homes" moments) but Steve and his team made it right. We had him do the landscape lighing, outdoor lighting, potlights, valance lighting, security and the list goes on. Steve was gracious in accommodating last minute changes and extras. He very easy going and a pleasure to work with and the workmanship is exceptional. My wife and I are thrilled with the results and couldn't be happier. We contracted CLI Electric based upon their reviews here on homestars and they didn't disappoint. Steve and his crew were such a great bunch of guys, very considerate and polite. They certainly exceeded all of our expectations. The workmanship is impecable and no one can match their 3 year guarantee. We have already booked them to come back in a few weeks to install some under cabinet lights. We highly recommend CLI Electric to anyone looking for an excellent electrical contractor.

We bought our house not to long ago and we knew we had to replace the old knob and tube wiring. We pick a few companies from Homestars and decided to go with CLI Electric. His price was just right at 9,000, although we did get a cheaper quote that was 4,000 less from another company we wondered about the quality since the others were in the same ballpark. Steve took the extra time to go through the house and check EVERYTHING!, not only that but he made notes and didn't try to sell us extras that we didn't need, unlike some other companies that we called. Steve kept us informed every step of the way. At the end of the job they did an excellent cleanup job, the place was spotless! Im very impressed with CLI Electric and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to family and friends.

My wife and I bought our house expecting that there was no knob & Tube, as the MLS listing stated there was 'NO KNOB & TUBE'; we were shocked when we opened the walls to find out that there was a cover up in the basement, and that the whole house was Kobe & Tube. CLI was one of three companies we found in the Yellow Pages to give us a quote to rewire the whole house, and we found them to be the most professional and the only one who didn't try to sell us up-grades we didn't need. They were fast and professional and a pleasure to do business with. We recently hired them to do additional work in our house for Lighting, Pot Lights, LCD TV mount (above fireplace). We look forward to using them in the future to do some landscape lighting when our budget allows. I highly recommend CLI if your house needs electrical upgrades.

We have been using CLI Electric for 5 years for all of our home renovations. Steve always completes the job on time, right on budget and most important of all with "no headaches". With our most recent project there were surprises along the way, ie. unsafe wiring in the house done by the previous owner or contractor. Thank god Steve checked everthing completely and fixed these hazards in addition to the service upgrade, new panel, potlights etc. We will continue to use Steve for all of our projects and highly recommend him to everyone. Several of our friends have hired him and are extremely happy with him. We wouldn't dream of using anyone else.

I usually don't do reviews but I am more than happy to make an exception for CLI Electric. Steve has been extremely helpful and his expert knowledge was superior to what I have had to deal with in the past. I build custom luxury homes and trying to find an honest and reliable contractor can be very stressful, but with CLI Electric I don't have to worry, Steve and his team are experts at what they do, and at some times even magicians. I have never had any problems whatsoever, ESA inspections are always passed with no defects ever and for me that's a money saver. If you are looking for expert work to be done with no headaches attached call CLI Electric, you will be taken care of from start to finish. I will continue to use them on all of my projects and wholehearterly recommend them everyone.
