He was efficient, easy to work with and he came up with a number of design ideas. We were very happy with his work. We plan on using him for phrase two of our project.

Rocco was a miracle worker! He helped us plan our addition and provided us drawings and updates in a timely manner. He posessed an in-depth understanding of the city by-laws and assisted us with some difficult permitting issues. Rocco was always available to provide guidance and ideas of how to overcome obstacles. We are planned and permitted thanks to Architalcan!

Having never used an architect i was a bit scared and nervous from hearing horror stories from friend about the process, costs and time it takes, so I was determined to do my research. After many referrals I checked out a number of listings on home stars and came across Architalcan. From the first call I made to Rocco he answered all my questions and I felt comfortable with him. He made it a priority to come out and see me right away which was great. I had a number of questions for him and never felt like I was rushed or talked down to, he makes you feel like you have known each other for years and always had suggestions. What impressed me was Rocco even answered emails, texts late at night when i was expecting answers the next day, so he definitely puts your mind at ease and makes you a priority. Not to mention the costs involved where far less than what was compared. Would I recommend Architalcan ? Without a doubt and I have found someone I can count on in an industry that can be full of disappointments and high costs Thanks again for all your work

Rocco did the drawings and obtained the permit for the removal of a load bearing wall and the installation of a beam spanning 27'. He worked diligently to ensure that the plans were submitted to the city departments and were approved very quickly and easily. Rocco was easy to get in contact with. He is knowledgeable in both design and construction. Luckily Rocco was there when a contractor was giving us a quote. It was apparent that the contractor did not know how to install the beam and we were able to get Rocco's contact to do the work, which turned out to be excellent! We are so glad that we decided on Rocco for the job!

Rocco gave me good ideas about what to do with my basement and porch. He took care of all the necessary drawings and permits and helped to make the process as painless as possible. He was also able to refer me to a reputable builder. I wouldn't hesitate to use Architalcan again for future projects.

I hired Rocco to design a walk-out on the 3rd floor of my Parkdale Victorian. He was quick and efficient, producing the drawings and relevant city permitting with no delays. I would recommend him if you want to get it done.

Rocco was able to meet with us right away, produced drawings for us within a week and got us our permit just like he said he would. We found Rocco on Homestars and contacted him based on the excellent reviews we read. He was able to meet with the same day we called, and we liked him right away. He is very knowledgeable, friendly, always reachable, and took the time to follow up and keep us informed. Our project included making our main floor open concept by removing all the interior walls and putting in a support beam with no posts. Rocco got us drawings and permits for our project within 3 weeks and the final price was as quoted... we would definitely recommend him.
