We were moving into a house and I contacted Mike a week before our closing. Right away, he travelled to the construction site and was able to convince the builders that he was just doing measurements to for the windows even though the houses were locked. I know why - Mike is extremely personable and easy to speak to. I met with him afterwards and even during his busy schedule he was able to take time to meet me and walk me through his quote which was very, very reasonable. He told me to give the go ahead and he could have the blinds done on the day I close which I thought was amazing considering it was less than a week. But Mike put the order in and prioritized it to the top at the shop so that it could be ready for the Friday installation. Lo and behold, Mike and the installer Tony were at the house on Friday and ready to install. Not only that, there was a problem with one of the pieces the cut an Mike had a new piece cut at the factory in Pickering and he drove it to Markham on the same day. Now that is customer service at its very best!! I would definitely recommend M3 Designs, in particular Mike and Tony, to anyone looking for beautiful shutters and great customer service. Everyone who has visited, family, friends and installers have commented on how beautiful they look!

In looking for a shutter company, I found M3 Design on the intranet. Selecting contractors on the intranet is nerve-wracking. Mike responded to my initial call very promptly and came by for a quote in a couple of days (even though it was the sunday). I wasn't sure how the shutters would turn out. My husband and I are very pleased with the results. The shutters are gorgeous. They have changed the whole look of our home. Thanks Mike

"We shopped around for months trying to find a reasonable deal on some high quality shutters for our home on a modest budget. We had pretty much given up until I ran into Mike by chance, within a day he had assessed our windows, quoted a price that blew EVERYONE else out of the water and had the blinds manufactured and installed in only 5 days!! My pregnant wife was ecstatic, most places were estimating 6 weeks!! Plus.... we were previously planning to go with vinyl (cheaper) but upgraded to solid wood with M3 and still saved money on the superior product. The blinds were installed flawlessly and look great. One of the primary rules of marketing is to always deliver more than you promise. Mike and Marco have done that and more. Condos are always a problem when it comes to getting any kind of renovation completed, but M3 was great in their installation execution. We looked at a number of different ways to solve our southwest exposure problem. In the winter, with the sun low in the sky, the light was not only blinding, but heated the rooms to the high 80s. We looked at curtains and blinds of various types. We decided the best bet was shutters. We called three different companies and looked at their products and their prices. M3 not only had (almost) the best price, but their product was far, far superior to anything else we saw. Therefore, the price meant very little because the product more than made up for any small discrepancies in price. We ordered shutters for our entire condo unit and Mike told us they’d be ready in a few weeks. About a week later he called and asked when we’d like them installed because they were done. What a great surprise – always deliver more than you promise! Installation went smoothly and we are so please with the results. One by one, we are slowly inviting our condo neighbours in to look at the results. Those who have seen our shutters are amazed at the quality and the way they change the appearance of our unit. I’ve recommended M3 to anyone who has seen the final result and I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for the highest quality shutter installed by a very competent and friendly group of guys. Quick competent, competitively priced...professional freindly. I already recommended them to every friend I have who needs high quality shutters. My place looks better than you could imagine. Finish a home with M3...!!

My wife and I moved into a newly constructed house and needed to deal with the 32 windows that had no window treatments. I did my research online as well as received several brochures that were dropped off at my front door and finally ended up getting 5 quotes. The quotes ranged from just over $17K to slightly under $6K for wooden shutters. That type of price range was a little disconcerting as this is a significant investment in the house as well as it will affect resale many years from now. I don't feel it is appropriate to mention the other company’s names here but they came up fairly high on my Google search. Some of the biggest concerns I had was the quality I was going to get. Many said they produced their own shutters but really they were outsourced and just finished by them. We met Mike who came in for a quote (he's definitely out going and a great guy) he was not the highest or the lowest but his product far exceeded the competition. We finalized the arrangement to get shutters installed and I thought this was going to be at least a 4 to 5 week minimum process based on what the other companies indicated but he turned the production and installation around in two weeks. Mike promised an early delivery time and kept his promise on the install date. There was a little hiccup on the install day as one of the shutters needed to be resized and unfortunately one shutter was not produced. Mike assured me he would fix this immediately. The original install was on Thursday and he came back with the new shutter and adjusted shutter on the following Monday (2 business days). Mike was involved throughout the process and was always ready to answer any questions or deal with any concerns I had. Mike and M3 were respectful of my time as well as my property. The house looks great - the product stands out and makes all the world of difference. My wife was really impressed with the polished nickel hardware that was used in the install as this makes the shutters pop. I would recommend Mike and M3 design group to my friends and family - I did my homework and spent a fair amount of time researching and interviewing and I'm definitely happy with the end result.

From my initial call, to the final installation, Mike took charge of the whole process and delivered one week ahead of time. Could not have asked for anything more. Mike surpassed all my expectations!! Great experience, I would recommend him to all my friends. Great job at a great price!

Because I had wooden shutters installed at my previous home I have something to compare. I had the previous company and M3 Design Group give estimates which were comparable. However, I found the quality of the M3 product superior in detail and finish. Mike also exceeded my expectation by delivering and installing the shutters himself before Christmas even though I only ordered on Dec 10! This order included two windows and two sets of garden patio doors. For sure I would call him again.

From start to finish was a whirlwind. Two weeks from initial quote, project was completed. Excellent careful workmanship. Such a pleasure to get a live person on the phone, for every call. My shutters are gorgeous.
