Harry is a very professional personable person who is extremely knowledgeable in refinishing and upholstery. We refinished our 45 year old bedroom suite and it looks brand new. We are extremely happy with his work and his prices are reasonable and would high recommend him.

Harry came within a day of us calling him. He gave us a price to strip and refinish a Chinese Chippendale dining room table and 6 chairs which we had used and re-finished several times in the 44 years since we bought it from the Art Shoppe. We gave him the colour and finish. He did one chair and we took it back to our home; but decided we wanted a different colour. He did one more chair in the new colour. We took it home and told Harry that it was just right. He asked us to return the chair so that he could do the entire set at the same time and using the same glaze finish. We then decided to re-upholster the chair seats. We gave the material to him and the end result is PERFECT. Notwithstanding all the changes we kept making, he charged us the original quoted cost plus $45/chair to re-stuff and re-uphoster the seats. Harry is highly recommended by us.

When we moved, I wanted my mother's dining room set refinished. It was a massive older set made of ornately painted but excellent wood. The painted finish was in poor condition and had to be stripped. Unfortunately, the underlying wood cabinetry was made of all different types of wood and therefore could not be stained; the set had to be repainted. It was disappointing but Harry was very clear with me about what would and would not work in refinishing this set. He worked with me patiently for months until I could come up with a finish that I wanted [which I showed Harry in a kitchen cabinetry sample I found] and now we are thrilled with the result! Harry is clearly very experienced and always guided me honestly and to the best of his ability while trying to realize my vision of the finished product. His manner is gentle and accommodating. His prices are very fair. Harry is a pleasure to work with and I would not hesitate to work with him again or recommend him to others. 10/10!

We had a desk refinished and a chair reupholstered. Rarely do you find someone who can do both, especially with such precision and care at a fair price. Great job; we're thrilled. Also Harry's delivery people are courteous and careful.

Harry completed a number of jobs for us. He colour-matched the stain for a desk to a T, repaired chairs, and rebuilt and reupholstered seat cushions making them more comfortable than they've ever been, and reupholstered a sofa bed. Set up convenient delivery times. Recommended great fabric places. A complete professional and a real pleasure to work with.

It was a pleasure working with Harry from beginning to end. He came as arranged to look at the pieces that I wanted refinished and repaired. He quoted me a fair price for their pick-up, the work to be done, and their return. Honestly I did not have any expectations for the old government desk and chair, just a hope that maybe they could be restored. They were covered in this green paint and they had been left in a garage for some 15 years. One of the desk drawers had even fallen apart. When Harry stripped and sanded the pieces, he called me to his place of business to see the progress and to discuss stain colours. Even at this juncture I could not believe that this was the same desk and chair. The church pew was also in a state of disrepair and it was sanded down so smoothly. Harry is a miracle worker as far as I am concerned. I was very impressed with the finished results when the pieces were delivered to my home ! I would highly recommend Harry to my family and friends.

I had a couple of 200 year old antique chairs reupholstered and the wood restored and I am thrilled with how they turned out! They look incredible. Harry was professional, responsive, worked within a tight time frame, and was a pleasure to deal with. I would definitely recommend Harry's Furniture!

Harrys Furniture brought life back to a very old sofa and chairs. They refinished the wood, created new cushions with fresh upholstery and most impressively corrected the bamboo caning on the seat back and sides. Overall a Great Job.

Brought chest with top on crooked. I thought it might be impossible to fix. But Harry checked it out and decided he could fix it which he did while I waited. excellent service!
