l called several electricians. I either got an answering machine or I was told I had to wait 3 or more weeks for Hydro and the inspector. My last call was to Larry from HC Electric. He answered the phone, knew immediately what I needed, quoted a price, came to my house to confirm what I needed, even suggested a surge protector all at a reasonable price, came the following Tuesday and did the job within the quoted time frame. Larry was very professional, punctual and courteous. I would recommend him highly. Thanks Larry for a job well done.

We were very pleased with the service we recieved from HC Electrical. We called in the morning and they came by at the end of the day to complete the work. We definately recommend them.

Larry and his team removed the knob and tube in our century home, upgraded our service to 200amp, installed electrical for two dishwashers and added pot lights throughout. They completed the job on time and with care. They were even flexible enough to accommodate a number of scope/design changes. They patched our walls up after they completed their work and left the place very clean. We would highly recommend Larry and team to anyone. They are true professionals.

Larry and HC Electrical were recommended by a friend, and he came to our home and took the time to thoroughly investigate the (truly convoluted) situation, and would not leave until we had a temporary solution in place, unlike another electrician who had visited the day before and left us high and dry while still accepting a fee for his visit. When Larry and his team returned to put in place the ultimate solution, they made sure to get a large job done in a single day to minimize the effect on my wife, mother-in-law and our newborn baby, and even threw in a couple of extra outlets and light fixtures that weren't included in the initial statement of work, simply as a favour to us. I was also assured that any defects in the work should be flagged immediately and would be followed up on quickly. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with the work itself and the clear, helpful style of communication that we received, and I would recommend Larry to anyone.

Larry and his team were punctual, reasonably and accurately priced with no surprises, and got the job done in the time frame promised. They were polite and respectful, and actually did a little more in cleaning up the existing wiring than I thought was really a part of the job that we discussed. I would absolutely recommend Larry to a friend, and I will hire him again myself for future projects.

I have used HC electrical in the past and they are my preferred electrician. Larry was punctual with every appointment and I could always count on him to bring about a cost effective, and reasonable solution to my electrical problems. These are the guys you need to call when you have a big or small project, they are dependable and knowledgeable. I have used them in the past for relocating switches, fixing outlets and other miscellaneous electrical work around the house. I am always happy with their work.

After buying and moving into my first home, I started experiencing constant problems with the electrical in the house. I had a couple of outlets that wouldn't work and the odd time a switch will work and then the next instance it would not work! I didn't take Larry long to figure out what the problem was in my house and quote me on it. Too my surprise and relief it didn't cost as much as I thought it would be to fix all the electrical issues I had. I had burned wires behind the walls, the electrical panel was overloaded and the breakers were not labeled which made it harder to figure out which lines were actually working and which weren't. Over all, Larry did a good job!

HC Electrical Services is the BEST!! I would give HC an A+++ in terms of quality, price, timeliness and follow-up. I had invited HC Electrical to give me a quote to do electrical work of my garage and the main house. Larry's quotation and contract were very detailed that required no guesses on my part as to what work will be done in accordance with the electrical code and standard, Consequently, based on Larry's detailed quotation, price and friendliness, my husband and I had decided to acquire his services. My house is over 100 years old and Larry and his crew sometimes had to work through solid brick that required persistence and sometimes luck to install electrical outlets in the main house. As well, the wiring of the garage involved digging in the backyard and patio and going through solid brick in the main house to the panel. Needless to say, the work involved was very time consuming and very intense hard labor. I was tired just watching them work and had to sit down to rest! Per the contract, I realized that the lighting that was going to be put in the garage was not going to be as bright as I had wanted it to be because I was planning for the garage to be turned into a gym, so I had wistfully told Larry that I really wanted it changed to have more and brighter lighting. Unknowingly, my wishful request was immediately met by Larry going to the lighting store and the next thing I know I was on the phone with him approving the quantity and amount of the lights. Wow!! The saying, "Your wish is my command" is very true with HC Electrical Services! Additionally, I had informed Larry that I was very worried about how the previous owners had electrically wired the house. He put my mind at ease by having his crew check all the wires/outlets in the house, and then rewiring all the electrical outlets that showed incorrect wring. As well, a light at the back of the house was found to have a missing electrical box that was immediately fixed by Larry, explaining in his calm and friendly demeanor that it should have an electrical box. I feel tremendous relief that my house is electrically safe now. No more worrying about whether my house will catch fire or have electrical shocks because of bad wiring that was done previously. My family and I are very happy by the extra outlets that have been put in the main house, plus we are able to turn on the switch in the garage and voila! THERE IS LIGHT! HC Electrical Services Ltd. is a top-notch, A+++ company, and I would recommend them highly to anyone needing electrical services!

Very professional. Reasonable, we have 3 light fixtures to install, pot lights were out and we are very happy that the issue can be resolved and fixed without having to open the ceiling, able to resolve all small requests like why the chandelier bulb does not work, etc. Really appreciated the professional work done.

Larry is the best electician that we have ever had; He came right away, gave a reasonable quote, did a top knotch job, was professional, very polite, knowledgable, and exceeded our expectations. He is the real deal! I will never use anyone else.
