Floor level
The most challenging aspect of my recent home renovation was the levelling of my 2nd floor. And, undoubtedly, the most important thing that I did was hire Paul and his team. They were complete professionals and their work laid the foundation required for my subsequent renovations to go smoothly. In only 3 days, they demolished the original flooring (circa 1920), and installed new plywood subfloor to an absolutely perfect, flat level. I couldn't be happier. I am planning on doing additional renovations to my home next year that will require some serious structural work, and there is no doubt that PTR Carpentry will be the ones that I use. Thank you, Paul. I am so gratfeul to you and your team. Thank you. Truly.

Repair damaged wall
I found Paul from PTR on homestars and I'm glad I did, he came to the rescue to fix numerous joists and a wall damaged from carpenter ants. He is fast, professional and honest, quote came in far below others. I can't wait to bring Paul and his team in for all my framing work.

1000 Sq Ft Addition with hand cut roof
We wanted to take the time to say how much we appreciated all the hard work that Paul and his team (Kyle & Marcin) put into our project. It was a two storey 1000 sq ft new addition with a hand cut roof to blend into an existing roofline. He was highly recommended from another trade. He was on budget, punctual and completed the project on time as estimated. (Even though we requested a few changes) True professionals, confident, respectful, well mannered and trustworthy. The job site was always left tidy. He is proactive and the excellent liaison with other trades was very helpful. We look forward to hiring Paul to work on any of our future projects. Complete Interior framing
We at Kayland Construction Concepts are very particular with who we associate ourselves with in business which is why PTR is our #1 choice in Carpentry. Sistering 2 floor joists
Found Paul on Homestars read many reviews and oddly enough Paul Lives near me. I had an urgent need to have a very bad floor joist corrected as we were having new granite countertops installed right over were the problem area was and Paul was there before the week was over. While he was here I had him fix another one that could have been a big problem down the road. He made sure that they were very secure. He was quick and thorough. Now we are having him frame our basement this summer and am confident that everything will go just fine. Thanks for your last minute help and see you soon. Denise in Brampton

Framing a 1 bedroom apt.
PTR reframed a prior job, I wasn't happy with. Paul was professional, fast and efficient. I was happy with the job and he had many helpful suggestions. I already have other jobs lined that I won't start without PTR. Thanks!

Framing Basement
We were very impressed with the work performed by PTR Carpentry. Paul is obviously very detailed oriented and focused on the quality of his work. He also showed up on time and was very accomodating to changes in schedule when his work was delayed. We are going to recommend Paul to anyone we know in the GTA area that requires similar work to be performed.

Basement Framing
Paul's attention to detail is second to none. I just had a drywaller in for a quote and even they were surprised by the quality of his work. Paul is open to changes during work. I asked him to add a closet in a hallway and he did so without issue and consulted me on all the requirements of the change. He arrived on time to the minute on both days he worked at our house and removed all waste after the work was completed.

Basement framing
Paul came highly recommended and he did not disappoint. Paul was honest and professional. He completed the job in two days as he originally quoted. He offered some great ideas and suggestions. I would definitely recommend PTR.

Interior alteration
We engaged PTR Carpentry to replace a load bearing wall with a beam. Paul was extremely knowledgeable and helpful, and executed the job quickly, professionally and perfectly, and for a very reasonable price. I encounter a lot of contractors in my field of work, and Paul stands apart for his professionalism, politeness and efficiency. We would recommend him without hesitation!
