I changed a light fixture and the new fixtures wouldn't completely turn off. Tyler identified the issue, took time to explain what needed to be done and was able to fix it promptly.

More than half our power went out in our home late at night and we couldnt figure out the problem. First thing in the morning we called Electric Avenue and Tyler was here in less than an hour. He was able to fix the problem which involved tracking down a hard to find backed ordered part (fuse) and he also discovering an improper installed light switch which was super dangerous. We are really happy with the prompt and professional service and would recommend him to friends and family.

We had a lot of issues with the plugs, pot, lights, under cupboard lights. Tyler was awesome, came very quickly, actually the same day. Explained all the work he was doing, and why it didnt work. He fixed every problem we had, and we are extremely pleased with his work.

I appreciate that they came to fix the lighting fixture if my house in a short notice, and did very good job.

During our recent heat spell in May I added an air conditioner to my home office in my master bedroom. Every time I turned on the air conditioner it blew my breaker. Using a surge protection power bar prevented my need as a homeowner to walk from my 3rd floor to my basement. This was Sunday. I saw the excellent reviews on Electric Avenue & called Tyler. He took my call & listened to my situation. With the days getting hotter, my wifes hot flashes were unbearable. He came that Monday. He explained that though this air conditioner rated on machine for 10.5amps & the breaker wiring rated for a max of 15, no air conditioner amperage is as listed. In fact with the tester on the breaker, with just the air conditioner on, it climbed to 14.5amps. Tyler was candid, buy an air conditioner, turn off everything but air conditioner & one other appliance, or have wiring replaced behind drywall for higher amperage. So its Netflix & really be chill. Tyler came right away, took the guesswork out, & we were able to know what our options were. Peace of mind has no $ value. Tyler is a master electrician who is professional, patient, & understanding of his clients needs. We highly recommend him & his company.

Excellent service provided by Tyler. I appreciated his professionalism, knowledge, and attention to detail. I was given a quote at start of job and was kept informed of progress. It was great to have this worrisome job put to rest! Highly recommended for any job you may have. I will have Tyler again if I require electrical services help.

I am an owner of a rental home. We had a furnace that wasn't working because the breaker kept tripping. Tyler worked with my tenants directly to organize access to the home. Once he was done, he phoned me to explain his diagnostic of the issue and his solution. I think Tyler has excellent problem solving capabilities. He was methodical in how he approached the problem. He worked my my tenants to understand the maximum load on the circuit they were using and took measurements of what their maximum load would be. When the measurement suggested that the maximum load might not be the issue. He identified the next probable cause as a loose connection to the circuit breaker, which would have increased the resistance on that circuit... and the evidence for his conclusion was that there was some melted wire sheathing near the connection point. Tyler is an excellent and clear communicator. He was fast and efficient in his diagnosis. I certainly will be using him for my future electrical needs.

Tyler is Very Prompt to Respond, Thorough & Methodical. He explains everything upfront, along with costs - NO SURPRISES!. We tracked the source of the short circuit. He reattached an exposed ground wire and had the lights and door bell working in an hour. Everything works Perfectly Now. FYI, he prefers Cash, Interac, or e-Transfers and issues a Receipt on the Spot - Done ✅. I would use Tyler again, knowing how he works and interacts. I paid what I expected and he was competitively priced for the Service.

Tyler came by today to check on my thermostat as my forced air electric heater was not turning off. after checking it and doing a few adjustments it is working now. Great guy, very personable, definitely would have him out again if I need any other work done and will recommend him to anybody looking for an electrician.
