    installing chandelier

Christmas eve day I was able to get my new chandelier wired up and hung for a dinner party that evening. And the service was so friendly and the price very fair. Couldn't be happier.

This company is exceptional in all aspects. Prompt, quick, professional and courteous service. I always receive a detailed explanation of the job before commencement and again once the job has been completed. Quotes are reasonable and accurate – no surprises! Thanks Tyler – you're a real PRO!

    Electric diagnostic

Similar to another member's experience, had them over to discuss lighting options but was charged for a diagnostic. Somewhat in fairness, I wanted a few switches and burnt bulbs checked out, but it took 10 minutes and this price seemed egregious (or not up front). Maybe I had a bad experience and this was a blip, but don't think I'll be following up.

Hi Allen, thank you for your time to review our business. The service charges that you were charged for was for a diagnosis. This is not based on time but for the number of electrical problems that you would like us to solve and the number of devices we have to open and reinstall to find the problems. Even though we do not charge for travel time our service charges because they are upfront have to be based on the average total time it takes to solve a set amount of problems. We let our clients know the price prior to starting any work to help eliminate any problems with price because being upfront and honest is our priority. The discussion about your lighting options were free of charge since you were not being charged by the hour. You are a valued customer and if there is anything I can help with in the future please give us a call.

    electrical repair

I had a dangerous electrical problem in my 50-year-old triplex. Tyler from Electric Ave. figured out the problems and came up with the best ways to fix them at a reasonable cost. He and his assistant arrived on the scheduled day, fixed the wiring and replaced the breaker box quickly and professionally. Thanks guys!

    Diagnostic, and possible work

Tyler from Electic Avenue showed up at the right time, and listened to my problem. He said that there could be multiple problems, and he needed to do a more elaborate diagnostic, asked for $300.00 for it, not the $158.00, that we originally agreed. He convinced me that it would be the case, and there could be a good amount of work necessary, so I agreed. However, it turned out to be a a small issue with minimal labor, and no parts necessary. The entire thing took about 10 minutes. He, however, stuck to the bill of $300. Electric Avenue are suppose to have a payment scale going 'by the job'. I fail to see how the job warranted a $300 price tag. BEWARE! BEWARE! BEWARE!

Hi Lance, thank you for your time to review our business. The service charges that you were charged for was for an extensive diagnosis. Electric baseboard wall thermostat installation

Tyler checked the wiring on two thermostats I was afraid may have been miswired. He also installed a programmable thermostat which was difficult to wire as there were multiple baseboards on the circuit. He was prompt courteous and did a good job.

New circuit for Microwave Hoodfan, plus some other incidentals!

As we tore up the kitchen for a thorough reno, we realized that the plug we were going to use for the new microwave hoodfan was on a fairly popular circuit- it was going to need its own circuit, and fast! Called Tyler ( because of his logo, and the wonderful reviews here), and he was here withing 90 minutes, and took care of the problem immediately. There was a fair amount of work to do, with wires needing to go to the other side of the room and all- and he was done in a ridiculously short period of time. Can't recomend this guy enough- knowledgeable, informative, and friendly. He explained eveything very well, and did an amazing job. Thanks, Tyler!!
