    replacement of house windos

    So incredibly pleased with Ecoline! I was very happy with (salesmen) Alex and everything he asked me about what I wanted for windows and frames. Nick and the 2 that installed my 6 new windows were amazing. Very thorough and they also repaired and painted the stucco that had been damaged when the old windows were taken out and cleaned up everything when they were done. I would highly recommend Ecoline to anyone and I look forward to using them again when I'm able to replace the remaining windows. Fabulous company! Amy S.

    Install Basement Awning Window

    We installed basement awning windows in Dalhousie NW to comply with City of Calgary Code for our secondary suite application. After obtaining many quotes, I found Ecoline's price to be very competitive. I also saved a lot of money by not having to cut concrete to install a bigger glider window. Their service was very professional, timely and friendly.

    Poor customer service

    The windows fit well, are keeping my home warmer and were installed better than my home's original ones. As the windows are still brand new it is too soon to comment on their quality. The after sale care is very poor. Calls were made to advise me that my windows were being manufactured on time but they didn't come. A month later I got another call saying they were starting to manufacture my windows. When I called them out on this and asked for an explanation on the conflicting calls all they said was COVID. This doesn't explain the misinformation and without any supporting information just sounded very hollow. Another 2 weeks later I was advised that my windows were in transit. I asked which transport company they were using as it is 4 days from ON to AB by truck. No answer other than hostile remarks that they could not tell me and there was no one for them to ask, and no, they did not have a record of the shipping of my windows. Two weeks later, after I inquired, they agreed to set an installation appointment even though the windows had not yet arrived. This time I was informed they were coming by CN Rail, which has a poor record for on time delivery of low priority shipments. Ontario to Alberta typically takes three to four weeks using this method.

    Main Floor Windows

    Ecoline Windows replaced all of our main floor windows in Acme. They look great and improved the value of our home. The installers were very professional. They arrived on time, laid our protective floor coverings, cleaned all work spaces and finished in a timely fashion. Very happy with the work completed. The production and scheduling of the install took longer than expected but that is what it takes for quality workmanship. Thanks for my new windows.

    New Windows and Patio Doors

    We ordered new windows and patio doors for our home, we waited a couple of months for them to arrive, which is the average amount of time with any company. The windows and patio doors are very good quality, the screens fit perfectly into the windows with no spaces. Two very qualified gentlemen came for the installation, they were amazing, they were fast, they did a great job and were so clean it was unbelievable. I’m so glad that we chose to go with Ecoline and I would definitely recommend to everyone.

    Patio door install

    Excellent customer service. Each stage of the process had responsive and helpful staff taking care of all the details. Install was excellent and the end product is beautiful. Ecoline installed a massive patio door and added a window for us. Very satisfied with our experience with Ecoline.

    Bad installation, warped window, uncooperative to resolve problems

    Ecoline Windows have been a nightmare. Five replacement windows too small so 3/4 inch gaps around windows just filled with silicone. We have consulted with a local contractor who tells us the many things Ecoline did wrong. Apparently they should have removed siding to install properly, leaving us with windows that will leak. One new window is warped, wrong size and not installed as per building permit instructions, so needs to be replaced and installed properly. Door replaced - bottom weather stripping has split and falling off within two months. It has been 5 months since install and they continue to be uncooperative and insist we pay the hold back before they will fix anything. They also say WE have to hire a home inspector to do a site visit and provide a report before they will do anything. We've contacted 3 home inspectors and sent photos, they say they don't need to do a site visit (we are rural) because the installation is obviously badly done. The latest is they are threatening to put a lien on the house if we don't pay the holdback. Pretty heavy handed for a $1,400 holdback. We cannot believe the nightmare this company is.

However, Ecoline Windows is working in accordance with high-quality standards and, as per CSA, your windows were measured correctly. Ecoline Windows have never demanded you to believe us, based on our expertise, therefore we suggested inviting an accredited inspector, who is not affiliated with any siding or window company, to make a professional evaluation of the correct sizes and installation. In case you are certain that there is an issue with our measurements, we encourage you to hire an independent home inspector to inspect the windows together with our installation manager, and after being provided with an official written report, Ecoline Windows will re-order and re-install the windows, if the inspector states that there is a problem. Even though, you mentioned that you hired three inspectors, Ecoline Windows simply cannot rely on their opinion without any written report, without our service manager being present at the inspection, and without the actual on-site appointment. Ecoline Windows will be glad to cover the cost of an in-home inspector’s visit, if all the conditions were met, and if he/she consequently evaluates that the windows are measured and installed wrong. We would be equally happy to re-order and re-install those windows free of cost, if an inspector evaluates that it is necessary.

    Worst customer service ever

    I will never use ecoline windows again and will not recommend them to anyone. I have to be honest, the windows are good quality and I like them but the customer service is the worst I have ever dealt with. Nobody would return numerous phone calls. They had to measure one of my windows three times before they got it right. I had to wait 10 weeks for the window that was measured wrong to be reinstalled and then they didn’t show up on the date they scheduled and didn’t even phone me till 8:20 pm to tell me they weren’t coming. Very disappointed.

    Window Installation

    WINDOW REPLACEMENT

    Good Afternoon. Regarding quoting and installation of the upstairs windows on April 7, 2021. Alex arrived last summer to provide a quote to install new windows on the 2nd floor of our home. Alex was very professional, wore a mask form his vehicle to our home and throughout the entire quoting process. His suggestions regarding the direction of windows opening and frosted glass for the two washrooms was much appreciated. He personally measured each window, made notes. He then returned to his vehicle to complete his quote. He returned to the house to present the quote to us. I was impressed with the timeliness and attention to detail in the quote. Winter arrived early and Polina and I arranged a springtime installation date. April 7, 2021 was set up to be the date of installation. The day of installation arrived. The crew arrived on time A young man wearing a mask came to the door as his crew was preparing the tools and windows in the trailer Artem introduced himself, did a walk around upstairs and got right to work. The men were very respectful of both ourselves and our home. When work was complete, Artem called me up to inspect the work and clean up. All very good. I had checked the outside and was pleased to see that all was left in great shape. From start to finish, I am very pleased with my experience working with Alex, Artem and Polina with Ecoline Windows to improve our home. Sincerely Very much appreciated glen
