We absolutely love our new space! Patrick and the team at PLANiT Builders did a fantastic job. They were so professional and no detail left out. We tell everyone we know how great the experience was and all our friends and family love the basement.

Its with mixed reviews. the organizational aspect was wonderful. Framer, Plumber and painters were wonderful. The first site sup was awful, the second was a wonderful person fro the two weeks I had him and the third was fabulous. However he had a mess to clean up from the first supervisor. Over all after a 4 page email of the deficiencies, damage Incorrect tile and incomplete work it turned out okay. However, I did have to make compromises and I shouldn't have to. The second from the top, Ryan, did try to make ammends and I am grateful for that.

We were impressed with how thorough and informative PLANiT was from the very beginning. We have about 500 sq/feet with a bathroom, flex room and living area as well as the stair well that we wanted to develop. We had 3 companies come in for estimates, and PLANiT was the most prepared and ready to listen and engage us in an honest discussion. Their price was also nearly identical to the other two estimates we received, and we felt for the price PLANiT was the right choice. In terms of the experience I think it went as well as it can when strangers are coming in to work on our home, sometimes when you are not there. The trades and PLANiT kept the site clean on a regular basis and were respectful to my family and professional at all times. Our site supervisor Mark answered any questions or concerns in a professional and understanding manner, and checked on progress almost on a daily basis. Issues will always come up with a project like this, and the difference is how your contractor or developer responds. There were two mix-ups with upgrades, which were both rectified the next day. Mark addressed these minor (in the grand scheme of things) problems that came up and took good care of our concerns. We are happy with our new basement. It looks great and we would choose PLANiT again if given the choice.

Professional from start to finish. You really get the feeling that they want the home owner to feel comfortable and in control. Our site manager, Mark, was great. He kept us informed every step of the way. The few minor issues that arose were immediately taken care of. We found the office staff okay to work with but we did have a couple small miscommunications. These were small enough to not cause me to take points away on the rating. They were as on time as possible given the build coincided with the heavy rains and flood. The site clean up was good. Overall it was a painless, reasonable stress free experience and I would recommend the company in general and out site manager in particular to anyone needing work done.

My site coordinator Brent was great to work with from beginning to end of the project. I always got a prompt response on any questions I had and would defenitely recommend Planit builders to anyone that needs a new garage built!!

After reviewing several renovation and development companies in the Calgary, Canada area, we selected PLANiT Builders based on a reasonable cost and a very thorough development package. The efficient and detailed planning process gave us high confidence in the work to be done and the well-presented (and explained) summary of qualifications, certifications, insurance, etc. demonstrated a level of professionalism that was not present with other companies. Work was completed slightly behind schedule, however the quality was exceptional and delays were explained and accounted for in a professional manner. In situations where sub-trades encountered challenges, the PLANiT site manager (Steve Bellanger) quickly resolved issues and enabled forward progress. When we had questions, Steve was quick to respond and to provide not only answers but explanations. With the project completed, we not only that we received great value for our money but through Steve's dedication and experience, we experienced very little of the stress associated with this type of renovation. While minor communication delays did occur, critical issues were resolved immediately. As well, small touches were added to make the new space even better than we had planned without our having to get involved - the team saw what needed to be done and took care of all challenges. Working with Steve and the PLANiT team was collaborative, constructive, and achieved our ideal basement in the best way possible.

Planit Builders is a very professional company starting with Murray Primeau, our Sales Estimator. The trades people were friendly and courteous. Everything was cleaned up on a regular basis and they were respectful of our home. Steve Belanger, our site coordinator, was an absolute pleasure to deal with. He was very accommodating and kept us constantly informed. We would absolutely recommend Planit Builders to others.

We recently had our basement developed by Planit Builders and are thrilled with the end result - hard to believe it is the same basement! From our first interaction with Don, to the design with Arnold and the actual building with Mark our site supervisor, it was a great experience. Any concerns we had during the process were addressed quickly by Mark. It was obvious he wanted us to be completely satisfied with the process and the product. We also benefitted from his experience as we incorporated some of his suggestions that really improved the final look of the basement. Having a site supervisor made the whole process much smoother than having to deal with multiple individuals. We would definitely recommend Planit Builders.

PlaniT builders did an excellent job at completing our basement renovation. The quality of the work exceeded our expectations. The primary reason you should hire this company is the strength in their Site Coordinators. Mark was on our site several times each week, and called contractors back if he (or we) had any issues with the quality of work. He is an excellent communicator and genuinely wants the client to be happy with the final product. We were very satisfied with PlaniT Builders and have no issues recommending them!

PLANiT Builders just developed our basement and it was a great experience. They did a fantastic work and we are really happy with the level of service and professionalism of the site supervisor Steve and his team. Steve, by the way, has a really friendly attitude and excellent customer service skills and went above and beyond to ensure everything was done right. My wife and I highly recommend their work to anyone.
