After vetting multiple Asbestos Removal companies/services, Robert diligently came to my home and gave me his expert advice, plan of attack and amazing quote. Robert came to my house two days after I called Templar to look at my kitchen ceiling. He sent me a quote which I agreed on and the work was completed a week later. Robert was very accommodating and worked around my schedule. The crew (two Kevins) were polite, knowledgeable and left my home very clean. I am having Templar look at two more properties that have much more mould next week.

We had used Templar Mould to remove asbestos from our previous home - and when we moved to our new place, we found, once again, that we had asbestos. Being completely satisfied with their work, we contacted Robert. Templar did an amazing job at removing the asbestos from our basement. They were very professional and did a great job. Air quality tests came back with flying colours, indicating that the work (the asbestos) was successfully removed. It is great knowing we are finally now in a asbestos free home thanks to Templar.

This is our second time using Robert (Templar) for asbestos removal in the basement. Robert is punctual and professional, and knowledgeable. He did the quote and the removal all without problem and we got a passing score. Very happy with templar and would recommend them to anyone.

We used Templar's services on two occasions: once, two years ago, for asbestos removal and another time, very recently, for mould. Both times were were thoroughly impressed with how much 'on the ball' and responsive both Robert and David are. They really are in the league of their own and they really care. If all home professionals were like this, renovations and any kind of major repairs around the house would be absolutely stress-free. Two years ago we had suspicions about asbestos in the popcorn ceiling in our living/dining room area, despite the fact that pre-closing home inspector told us there was no asbestos in our house (house built in 1960s). We hired Templar to do our asbestos analysis and were impressed with how professional, meticulous, extremely knowledgeable (in matters far beyond asbestos/mould) and informative David was. He’s not an alarmist by any means and spoke to us in great detail about what levels of asbestos and in what situations would be harmful to us. He took samples in possible suspect areas around the house, including the basement. As he went around the house, the attic & the basement, he also advised us on some of the non-asbestos related issues he picked up on that required attention (which we really appreciated as we were first-time homebuyers and needed all the advice we could get). The lab test came back a few days later and unfortunately, there was indeed asbestos in the popcorn ceiling albeit at low levels. David was very reasonable and didn’t at all try to sell or push the abatement on us as the ceiling was no threat to our health if left undisturbed. We really appreciated his common sense approach and his readiness to answer the million and one questions we had following the lab results. In the end my husband and I decided to go ahead with the removal, to have the freedom to install the potlights and/or other ceiling fixtures if need be (also good for resale value to show that house is asbestos-free). The abatement went well, guys worked very efficiently, paying attention to all the small details. They did their best to not damage the underlying ceiling to save us the extra work of having to even it out afterwards. All was done on schedule and we were notified as soon as the lab results came back giving us a green light. All in all, we are extremely satisfied with the service and opportunity to work with such genuine professionals. We did not even want to shop around for quotes, to be honest, as we wouldn’t want anyone else to remove the asbestos but Templar, after that first meeting with David. Overall, we give Templar our rave reviews without any hesitation.
