    Excellent Service

    When my husband and I first discovered the mold in our basement, we were devastated and overwhelmed. I called Templar and they scheduled the inspection in a very timely manner. David was very helpful and informative and that really eased our concerns. The quote that he sent us shortly after was very reasonable and the guys who came to remove the mold were very respectful and kept us informed of the progress. The job was completed in a day and David came back to explain everything that was done. I wouldn't wish anyone to have mold in their homes but I would recommend Templar anytime.

    Removing asbestos vent padding

    Templar responded to our request to remove asbestos padding in our vents just a week before we moved into our new home. They were very accommodating with our short notice. The removal process were explained to us in detail before the work began, and the job was clean and thorough. Given that we were in an older bungalow, we were also given a quick assessment to inform us of potential asbestos problems to watch out for (i.e. basement flooring) in case we needed to renovate...at no additional charge, which was a good customer service touch. Though i would suggest that Templar improve on their payment capabilities as they are still resorting to cheques by mail only. Online Interac/Paypal/Square should be options for your customers. All in all, I would highly recommend Templar.

    Extensive Renovation

    Called Templar Asbestos removal to complete abatement at our new property. Robert Promptly responded to my email enquiry and provided a quote for their services. The crew arrived at the appointed date/time and got to work right away, completed the entire abatement process in a few hours. Left the worksite in a neat and tidy fashion. The Crew needed to return to remove a heat shield above the old furnace, which couldn't be removed until the duct work was disconnected. Sent a short email to Robert again and the work was arranged. Completed in the same fashion as first visit. Even took care of some asbestos flooring tiles our contractor uncovered during demolition free of charge. Great Job!

    Asbestos removal from basement

    This was an overdue review. We hired David and his team to remove asbestos from our basement in the summer of 2015. We had a tight timeline and David was responsive to our request. The team was efficient, clean and thorough. The rates were very reasonable for the quality of work. We will recommend Templar to others.

    Attic Mould Remediation

    Templar inspected my attic for mould after a ceiling water leak. David, the inspector, also recommended having the old insulation tested for asbestos, as it included vermiculite. Templar provided a very competitive quote and was able to remove the attic mould the next day. I received a certificate of completion and asbestos analysis from an independent lab (luckily asbestos free!). From start to finish I felt comfortable with this company. Highly recommended.

    Mould remediation

    Water got into the garage. This was a problem that had been addressed by the previous own but happened again. After the drywall got wet, we found mould forming on the visible side of the garage. After contacting several companies (and having a few people out), I decided to go with Templar. Dave was the most down to Earth and there was no "fear mongering" like I was getting from other places (as soon as you say mould, it can get ridiculous really quickly). In addition, their price was by far the best. I was getting quoted double from some companies who just heard my explanation over the phone and didn't even want to come out and look w/o an additional charge. Templar was very flexible and met my schedule, and were able to accomodate when I wanted them in. Guys came in, easy to deal with, did their work and cleaned up perfectly. They also answered any of my questions after the fact. The other interesting thing was they didn't collect payment right away (even though it was offered). They simply said to pay the bill when I received the invoice. To me, this was just another way to show confidence in their work, as they knew they did the job correctly. Very satisfied, would recommend.

    Asbestos test

    I contacted Templar to perform an asbestos test of the linoleum tile we found in the basement of our >100 year old house and David very promptly came out to take a sample of the tile. We got the results very fast and were happy to find out that it had no asbestos. Thanks Templar!

    A+ from a happy customer

    We had gutted our bathroom when we noticed some asbestos so we decided to call Templar based on their Homestars reviews and I'm happy that we did. We phoned Templar in the morning and David was able to come to our house later in the afternoon for an inspection and estimate. He was courteous, professional and informative which I appreciated. He went over what needed to be removed, why it should be removed and the cost. We agreed on a price and scheduled the work prior to David leaving. The next day David and another Templar crew member came by in the morning and quickly got to work removing everything needed and were extremely tidy and once again very professional and informative. Thanks to David we'll definitely use Templar again if needed.

    Free estimate, indeed, and a good expertise too

    I called for an estimate for my mould situation in the basement, and also on the 2nd floor, plus I wanted to have an asbestos inspection. So I contacted the company - David called back, visited my house when we agreed - checked both locations for mould, gave a full informative advise, plus assessed asbestos risk there... No charge for the estimate... Thank you!

    Asbestos pipe covering removal

    Templar removed a small amount of asbestos on pipes in a furnace room. Robert is an efficient and experienced operator. He called me back promptly, visited within two days to provide an supported quote, and his team showed up when announced to do the small job. Air quality was then tested after 24 hours. All went well. Another provider was cheaper, but that Robert visited and laid out clearly what he would do inspired confidence.
