My family and I recently moved into a home and we had a really nice family room at the back of the house with a fireplace and big windows to the backyard. The only problem was that there was an existing wall unit/ shelving that looked like it was from a 50 year old cottage somewhere in the woods. It was terrible and it was ruining the room, naturally I decided to approach Shane to see if he would like to work on a new built-in wall unit for me. Having had Shane work on a couple other furniture pieces for me in the past I was confident that it would be awesome and to no surprise it was. Shane and his team hit a home run on this project, it was above and beyond what we even thought it would look like, amazing work. It has transformed the room and it's funny to see jaws drop when we have friends and family over who haven't seen it. Right from the start, we had drawings made up, we revised them until we were happy with what we saw and we gave Shane the green light. The job was done on time, on budget, and the install was a day and a half with no mess and nothing but pure professionalism. You can go to ikea again and buy something that will last a few years but I suggest maybe to call Shane at Clean Cut and let him build you something much better that will last forever, you'll be happy you did. Shane did an amazing job building a floating bench for our front foyer and a framed mirror box for our powder room. He made sure both items are to our satisfaction. He is the best contractor you can ever ask for. We recommend him to everyone and hire him again in our future projects.

Shane did a beautiful job on my floor to ceiling custom cherry cabinets. He ensured everything was done to our satisfaction - replacing and refinishing large pieces at times. We were very picky and with other renovations going on were not always ready when he was, yet Shane never complained and was always accommodating.

I hired Shane at Clean Cut to design, construct and install a 12-foot wide wall unit for my living room. I initially contacted 5 of the highest rated companies in this category on Homestars, and Shane was by far the best to deal with and had the most reasonable pricing. At the planning phase of the project, I showed Shane a few wall units that I liked on the internet to give him an idea of my style - he worked with those ideas to create a design that was truly unique and ideal for my space. I could not be happier with the design and was excited to see what the actual unit would look like in real life. Well, I can honestly say that the finished product did not fall short from the design one bit - it looked exactly like the 3D rendering Shane showed me, and if anything, better in person. The quality of the materials and precision in caftsmanship blew me away. In addition to this, Shane installed the unit by the agreed upon date, on budget, and his crew cleaned up after themselves. These guys get an A+! I highly recommend!

Shane from Clean Cut Carpentry was recommended to me when i decided to update my kitchen with new granite, backsplash, electrical, valances etc. Shane was very professional and came with great ideas. I trusted his opinions and the best part is he cleaned up after each visit. I'm very pleased with the end result and would definately hire Shane again for other projects.

Shane is stellar. He came in to see our unit, and provided a variety of super helpful suggestions. He ultimately created a modern looking floating desk and shelf combo, as well as shelving to maximize our storage space in our small condo. Would highly recommend!

Shane has done an amazing job on our kitchen. We had bought this home with no previous upgrades to it so we had our oppertunity to make it what we liked. It actually ended up even better than what we would expect. From his ability to work around our schedule , being on time, always keeping us informed as to the process, we are extremely pleased with the end result. His recommendations to the design , and his ability to put the vision into reality has given us the kitchen we wanted. I would 100% recommend Shane and his expertise to everyone even just thinking about having work done. His creativity and ethics will have you wanting more . We will be using Shane again for our next project!

Shane and his crew did an outstanding job to complete several large and small work orders to prepare my house for sale. He personally did the general fix-ups that included anything from installing tiles and weather stripping to tightening hinges. The larger work completed included rebuilding an external door (frame, threshold and brick work), front door repair and varnish, driveway interlock brick reset with sand and cement, and interior painting. Shane managed all the sub-contractors and completed these jobs before my deadline! The quality of work, craftmanship and service was beyond my expectations.

We hired Shane to build our elevated backyard deck. We have had a sliding door on the main floor since we moved in and it has been useless without a deck. Shane was very professional, offer great suggestions and completed the job on time and within budget. He even found creative ways to use the left over materials to add some finishing touches. We would recommend Shane to any of our neighbours and as we continue to upgrade our house, he will be at the top of our list! Michael

We hired Shayne to replace the old original rotten wood exterior trim and to build a canopy over our front door. The canopy was custom built based on pictures and dimensions we wanted. Shayne was very meticulous and paid attention to detail. He is a true craftsman. Shayne was friendly and easy to talk to and was willing to quickly rectify anything that we were not happy with. He ensured the job site was always clean and that we were satisfied with the job. I will hire Shayne again for any carpentry projects and I would have not problem referring him to friends and neighbors.
