Firemen Movers did a great job moving us from a 1,000 square feet , 2 bedroom apartment (ground floor) to a new condo of a comparable size (2 bedroom & a den – 19th floor). They delivered boxes, did an estimate, and recommended an earlier start time because of an elevator booking in the new building.
The three guys were fast and efficient, furniture wrapped properly,, runners were put everywhere (condo has brand new hardwood floors). Also very pleasant and professional, actually made the move as enjoyable as a move can get. It was a warm day, and the distance between the parking area and the elevator in the new building almost 60 m. The whole thing took almost seven hours of hard work on their part. For the amount of work the price was reasonable, including some boxes, and our deposit was properly deducted. They will loan two wardrobe boxes, and take back unused boxes purchased from them. We were very happy with everything, even more so when we learned that someone had to cancel their elevator booking the same day because their movers did not show up. And after having read some of the "moving disaster" stories other people have written on other moving companies. That way my biggest worry of the day was about getting our cat in her carrier in the morning, to take her for boarding for the day, but that worked out quite nicely, too! ?
The only concern at the beginning was a bit of a difficulty getting in touch with their office by e-mail, but it was explained to us that their office was moving at that time. But once we had a cell number of one of the owners, there were no problems.
