    Move to new home

    As a single mom, I recently moved from a large matrimonial home in the west end, to a home just north of Toronto. I was not looking forward to the move as I was all too aware of the anxiety and stress associated with it - having moved previously. I have to say that I was extremely happy and satifsfied with the work Firemen Movers provided. The guys were super,there were no surprises and the confirmation and follow-up was great! I had a large amount of stuff to move, some of which needed to be taken apart (which was no problem for the movers)and some of which was very fragile. I felt I was in great hands. All I can say is that I would recommend these movers to anyone - they were fabulous!

    Moved a bedroom set from downtown Toronto to Scarborough

    I was disappointed in the service of the movers that were sent from Toronto Fire Movers. My service elevator was only booked from 4 - 6 pm, and I was advised that the guys would be at my address around 4:30 pm. They did not show up until 7 pm. This caused some difficulties for me, being in an empty apartment, while pregnant, for so many hours, and dealing with concierge to try to re-secure a service elevator for the move. Also, I found the movers worked very slow. They took one piece at at time, down the elevator from penthouse level to ground to load their truck - instead of loading up elevator until full! My other movers moved out my entire apartment in the same time it took them to move ONE BEDROOM SET and TV. They also damaged one wall in my old rental unit. At the other end, the movers had difficulty putting together the queen bed. I am not sure why, as my dad, brother and I had put it together ourselves before quite easily. I was not impressed with the service I received, nor would I recommend this service to any family members or friends in the future. Especially considering the high cost.

    Wow - well what can we say - we feel very bad about letting our client down. My name is Scott - I am one of the owners of the company. The situation above is why we very rarely have a crew do 2 moves in a day. As it turns out our crew got behind on their first job, and even further behind when they went to the right street, but the wrong part of town. When we arrived we had missed the elevator window, meaning we were using the elevator like everyone else - which took more time than it should have. Seeing this review on homestars was the first I had heard about it (our customer service manager was on vacation) and I immediately called the client to express our concerns. We have refunded our customer an amount approximately equal to what the additional charges turned out to be, and we understand that she is happy with this resolution. Satisfied customers are our paramount concern and we are committed to delivering this consistently.

    Move

    A very well organized company. The move turned out exactly as planned. They arrived on time, worked really hard, and were absolutely pleasant to deal with. I would recommend them to anyone.

    Moved from a apartment to a house

    My husband and I hired Fireman Movers for our recent move. Although moving is never easy, the company was wonderful to deal with and exceeded all our expectations. Janice was fantastic to arrange things with so I felt very confident things would go well. The day of the move, the two movers were efficient, very friendly and took great care with our possessions and floors. Adding a second location (a storage locker) was no problem for them, which we appreciated. I would recommend the company to anyone who asks.

    MOVING COMPANY

    They were punctual, courteous. They did extra mile. We would highly recommend this company. The price was very reasonable, they cover everything they were no scratches and no damage. The service was excellent.

    Moving

    If moving can be great - it was! On time, courteous, professional and fun. The 3 men couldn't do enough for me - the truck was packed and ready to go in record time. My couch is huge but they assured me it would be OK - they brought it in through the balcony door when I wasn't looking. A monster china cabinet had us stumped but they even solved that problem...I could donate it to a charity they support. I have already recommended them to others and would use their services again in a heartbeat. Thanks to a great crew - Levi, Jessie & Tim.

    household move with pick up at 2 locations and delivering to a third

    Fireman Movers had to pick up at two homes and deliver to a third. The three guys arrived on time, were totally capable, clean and friendly. This move was the smoothest one I've experienced to date. Nothing was damaged, they placed the furniture where we asked and even left a gift when finished. I would recommend them any time.

    Moved my mother into a retirement home

    We moved my mother from a townhouse to a retirement home. The Firemen team was on-time, totally professional and polite and did a great job at a stressful time for my mother. This is the 3rd time I have used them and would recommend their service for anyone considering a move of any kind. You always know what you are getting. My sisters loved the fact that the Crew Chief was Mr. June in the Markham Firefighters calendar too!

    Storage and moving

    I was very impressed with the exceptional service that I received from Firemen Movers. The service was truly exceptional. They treated me and my belongings with care and respect. The storage facility is outstanding and the inventory taken as my belongings were moved into storage let me know that my possessions were being well looked after. For the actual move the movers were right on time. My furniture was well wrapped and protected and the move itself was seamless. Both movers were a pleasure to work with. They treated my belongings like they were their own. From my first conversation with Janice to book the move to the last box being loaded into my new place I was thrilled with the service that these professionals provided. They made moving far less stressful! I would recommend them in a heartbeat!

    Moved our home

    The men from Firemen Movers were fantastic. They were courteous and helpful, and very understanding about my lack of preparedness, and happily moved boxes as I filled them. It was a very snowy day, and despite the bad weather they cheerfully set to work. No item was unreasonable, including two heavy stones from my garden. These guys were so professional and fun, they made a stressful event much easier! I would highly recommend them to anyone.
