Thanks and keep the good work up! I can only tell you from my experience as a several high-rise buildings owner – the best plumbing company I came across in many many years. Found this company through homestars. Arranged the estimate and had a technician come over at a short notice. We discussed the job and the price which was fair and within the budget. I got a very good feeling about this company from the get-go thus signed the contract on the spot. They were cordial, professional, experienced and easy to communicate with. Proficient in their job. I am very grateful for everything.

I was extremely selective when I was looking to hire a contractor for a waterproofing job since I had dealt with a different “reputable” plumbing company in the past which did not deliver good results. This time I needed to make sure that I find the right company for the job. Umbrella Waterproofing was the one (amongst 17 other companies I have contacted)! Their technician left me with a very positive first impression, seemed and turned out to be extremely trustworthy and knowledgeable. Preliminary site visits were performed before the work had started as I requested. Somebody was always available to answer my questions. They made me feel confident in them and their skills. Oh boy was I right to hire them! Cannot be happier with the final results! Thank you for the great way to do the business!

The Umbrella team transformed our damp, musty basement into a usable space.Vlad and his impressive team did a good job waterproofing the basement walls, replacing a lead water pipe and installing new cleanouts and a bathroom drain.

Umbrella’s team did a huge waterproofing job for us over a year ago, on April of 2009. We wanted to wait and put the job to the test of time and weather before giving a feedback on their work. More than a year after many rainy and snowy months our basement shows no signs of dampness; basement became completely dry shortly after work was performed and the air quality improved significantly. Umbrella’s crew did a SUBLIME waterproofing job, and we want to thank you for your first-class work and for fixing our “homeowner’s nightmare”. (We apologize for not posting a review earlier.) Highly recommended!

We moved into our first house this past February. You can imagine how we felt when our basement drain started backing up almost immediately and the first quote we received was for a $15,000 job to do a complete overhaul of the drainpipes. Four quotes later, Vlad was the man for the job. He promptly came to our house on a Friday evening, took the time to thoroughly investigate, and recommended a $2,000 solution. The job got done that weekend. If necessary (hopefully not), we will definitely call Vlad again.

I want to thank Umbrella Waterproofing for a wonderful job done in waterproofing my house in Richmond Hill! They are a first rate company that will do anything for the customer. This company stood out amongst all the other companies that we have contacted regarding waterproofing. We got a very pleasant visit from their expert who was helpful, genuine and offered us several solutions. Needless to mention that cost was reasonable and they did not try to make an extra buck out of our situation. They worked hard and delivered sublime results!

Umbrella’s staff was exceptional from start to finish: professional, very helpful and honest. Their technicians came on time, equipped with newest technology, friendly and very knowledgeable. Vlad took our plumbing problem under control and delivered results as promised. They were very respectful of our home and left the job area impeccably clean after waterproofing was completed. We are so happy with the results that we have hired them already for another project.

Vlad was the only contractor (out of at least five) who was truthful about the scope of work needed. He did not try to upsell me through fear tactics to undertake other work and was forthcoming about what the problem was. In addition, he located a smell in my basement and simply filled an empty floor drain. Five "highly reputable" contractors told me that the same smell was moisture and a $10 to $15k dig job around my house. I highly recommend him.

Vlad was courteous, knowledgeable, and reliable. He cleanly redirected our downspouts on both sides into new French drainage systems, graded properly, and dug out sizable (4x4x4 foot) openings. It was cleaned up, topsoil and grass finished to our liking. I would highly recommend him in future.
