We called Advanpro and Brad was the technician that came to our property. After inspecting the furnace Brad told us that our motor was fine and it was another part (can't remember what it was called) that needed replacing. The service call turned out to be a lot less than what we were expecting. We appreciated that Brad was honest and did not sell us the motor that we did not need. He took the time to explain to my husband what was wrong with the furnace. Jason called to let us know he would be able to come by at 2 even though our appointment was scheduled for 4. We were happy to have him come earlier. He showed up promptly at 2 and got right to work. It took him and his associate just over an hour to clean our furnace, ducts and fireplace chimney. We hired advanpro to clean our furnace, ducts and air conditioner. The service techs that came to our home were Benji and Chris. They were about an hour late but they called to let me know ahead of time which I really appreciated. While they were here they seemed professional and they got the job done in about 90 minutes. Our issue with advanpro began after they left. When my husband went downstairs to clean up after them he found that the cover for our humidifier was missing and that the unit itself was no longer working. Upon further inspection he found that our hot water tank had also stopped working. When he phoned to ask about what had happened, the person that he spoke with was not only unhelpful, he hung up on him before the conversation was finished. They claimed that they did not touch the hot water tank and said that the humidifier cover was cracked before they came. In our resport from Benji and Chris, they did comment that the cover was cracked but did not say anything about the humidifier not working. We will not hire advanpro in the future nor would we recommend them to any of our family or friends. We are extremely dissapointed in how this was handled and we will take our business elsewhere.Review from HomeOwner HomeOwner

I booked the platinum package and was able to get an appointment quickly. The 2 guys that came out were very professional, friendly, worked quickly and thoroughly and advised me on everything they did. They were very courteous and pet friendly. I was very happy with the job they did and would definitely recommend and will use them again.Answer from pro:

Today I had the ducts and vents cleaned in our home. First of all, I was pleased to be able to have the job done just 2 days after I called. The team of Benji and Chris were very helpful, polite and friendly, and I am pleased with the work they did. They protected the house with cloths and manoeuvred the tools carefully (as there were still some piles of furniture, etc to work around, due to recently completed renos. The cold air intakes were not fully screwed back in place but I suspect that was because they were worried about threading the screws. They arrived within the time frame I was given (from 8:00 to 4:00) but next time I would prefer a phone call just before so that I could do a couple of last minute preparations, such as moving a vehicle. Not a complaint, just a comment for future consideration. One final note: I was surprised the bill included a service call charge as well as the standard charge for a cleaning, as I thought that would be included but it also could be because Benji had to clean out quite a few dead spiders and webs from the furnace. Most of our jobs are scheduled in specific time slots but we do at times add extra jobs if the customer wants it done sooner then our next available time slot. It appears you were one of those jobs and the techs should have called in advance to let you know when they would arrive. Our furnace went out in the depth of winter, one of those -40 weeks. We called a few places "emergency" line and couldn't get anyone. When we called Advanpro they dispatched a tech within the hour. Most recently we had a reoccurring issue with our furnace motor (which had been replaced in the winter) and called back. The technician, Brad, didn't want to waste our time with a service call until he had a better idea of the issue and so he could have the right parts (one service call). We sent him some pictures of the furnace make/model and a quick video of the issue. He diagnosed and came at a convenient time to both of us. He was in and out in less than 10 minutes with the issue solved. My favorite part is that he involved you in the diagnosis and fix, so you were informed about what was happening. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. I'd definitely recommend Advanpro, and specifically Brad!Answer from pro:

Leo and Chris were very friendly, and courteous. They worked around my timid dog, and were respectful. The furnace and ducts were cleaned quickly and very well. Leo also checked my humidifier to make sure it was working properly, and showed me that it was indeed working. They were finished everything in just over 1 hour! Kevin MacKinnon came to clean my mother-in-laws furnace ducts. He did a very good job, and he came when he said he was going to be there. Louise told me she hasn't had to dust as often. On one of the coldest nights in Calgary at the end of February the heating suddenly stopped working. I made a call to Advanpro and Brad Jones arrived to fix the problem within 45 minutes. Talk about a speedy service. Brad sorted out the issue temporarily and came back a couple of days later after he ordered some parts to fix the furnace. I was very impressed with the level of service and will definitely call Advanpro again for all my furnace needs.Answer from pro:
