SOBOL is a company I'd be pleased to recommend to anyone. Archie and his friendly, reliable team easily handled the unexpected posed by our 90 yr old home. We're especially pleased with the addition of insulation in the walls around our bay window, a value-add which we didn't expect.

I am very happy with the service provided by Archie and his team. He provided a written quote and itemized all the work that would be done. Everything, including the scheduling, maintenance of tidy work area, end product and followup were handled efficiently and professionally. I will use Sobol Inc again in the future when I need more windows replaced.

I had 5 quotes for our job including three 10 star Homestars window installers and two contractors who neighbours were very happy with. Archie came to measure and give our quote; he was the *only* person who took the time to inspect all the windows, the frames, and to notice variations in measurements between windows in a double-story bay. His price was very competitive; I was actually really surprised! We had his team come first to replace 7 windows (including one massive window) and install a screen door; we liked them so much we had them back a few weeks later to replace the remaining windows in our home and add another screen door. Both times his team finished installing the windows in one day and came back the next to seal from the outside. They were polite, efficient, and professional. Archie was a delight to work with. I would highly recommend this company!

I will definitely hire Sobol again. Archie was great - very knowledgeable and patient during all our last minute changes. I am confident that Archie will always make sure the job is done right. I had another company make the hole in the wall for the window, because they were in doing some other renovations. My only regret is not hiring Sobol to do the entire job of making the hole and installing the window.

I am more than pleased with Sobol Inc. I chose Sobol after noticing the work they did on a Victorian home on Grant St a few doors from me in the Queen St East / Broadview neighboerhood area. I also visited a house where they were installing all the windows. Because it was under renovation and unoccupied I was allowed to enter and talk to the installers and was shown different options and how they compared. I was impressed My windows on the 2nd floor of my Victorian home at 59 Grant St were installed yesterday. Workers arrived on time and did a beautiful installation and left the place spotless. Because theirs was the lowest quote I spent extra checking references since I was not just looking for the lowest bid. The men I dealt with are gentlemen and I am happy to recommend them . Archie and his crew were professional, courteous, and efficient. They went beyond the normal expectations for this kind of service. The price was excellent and I could not have asked for better service. It was a particularly challenging project and they managed to get it done quickly and with great care. I highly recommend Sobol and I will be calling on them again for future projects.

Archie and his team were fantastic from start to finish in getting new windows and doors for our 60 yr old house. Initially we only had an idea of what we wanted. Without pressure, Archie guided us through the selection process. The install was outstanding. The team is knowledgeable, polite and incredibly diligent. Outstanding experience & great end result.

We hired Sobol to replace all the windows in our old house. We went with fiberglass in the main room and all bedrooms and vinyl in the basement and extremities. Archiel and his wonderful crew showed up on time, covered our floors with cloths, they were friendly, and they reviewed the process before starting. We had an issue with the colour and Archiel worked hard to solve the problem. At the end of each day, the crew removed the cloths and swept the floors. In the end, our new windows look great, there were no surprises on the costs (right on budget). In fact, I suspect they did a little extra on two windows and replaced some rotten wood at no extra cost. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Sobol to anyone who needs windows installed.

We had Archie over today to replace a broken window pane in our large wood window. Prior to dealing with Archie, I had contacted a couple other companies (both with 10/10 ratings on Home Stars). Both suggested replacing the entire wood window with a vinyl one which would have meant replacing both large windows in our front room so that they would match. We were not interested in going vinyl, or having mismatched windows in our house. I spoke with Archie and he came over soon after to assess the damage, take measurements and provide a quote. He told me he could do it no problem and was very friendly, personable and explained things clearly. Today he came on time and performed an excellent job replacing the pane which was rather labor intensive. I was extremely happy with the work and glad we went with Sobol. Archie's very detail focused, precise and takes the time needed to do an excellent job. These qualities are hard to come by in the trades industry in our experience. He also cleaned up afterwards - the room is cleaner than before he arrived:). Overall, we are extremely satisfied. The cost was very reasonable and we plan on having him back in the future for further door expansion/instalment. We would definitely recommend him to friends without hesitation.
