    Vega line company

I would give them 0 star, I really not recommend to take this moving company because they don't care about you at all! They just consider their benefits. One of my friends told me she is upset because most of her stuff has damaged but I chose this company due to its price. However I got valuable experience that I want to share with u guys. They are not honest they told us after 8 to 10 days we can reach our stuff but we get just half of that after 20 days,so we paid too much money for guest room . If I chose another company I would pay less. I really became disappointed with their costumer service :(

    Regina to Calgary Household Move

Vega Line is the worst moving company I have ever encountered. They overcharged us by 30%, destroyed furniture (hall tree and kiln) used too small of a truck and had to store the excess at a U-Haul facility and then were 1 month late in delivering that load. They don't tell the truth and deny they made commitments. I took the case to BBB in Richmond and that came to naught. I doubt if this company will last long. I DEFINITELY WILL NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN.

    Moving services

I totally regret choosing this company. they moved my stuff from BC to ON. Their estimate was totally off :$1100 vs. $1700. Super unprofessional staff at delivery. Pick up guys were good. Few of my stuff cane in broken. But the biggest problem is they lost a box full of original paintings. Over $3000 worth of art simply gone. Several useful back and fort emails and nothing at the end. All they offered was $50! Interestingly they charged me for packing too and never gave my money back. If you ever ended up using them good luck! Maybe insure everything to the max. Big fat NO to VegaLine.

    Move from ON to BC

This is the worst company that I have dealt with, They have horrendous customer service, watch out how their tone changes from when you place the order to when they do the shipment. I have never seen a customer service department where representative speak with a condescending manner. The only reason I used them was because their quote was cheap and I paid the price for choosing them. Their estimate was way off, I had broken furniture and my beds headboard is missing and when I contacted the company they wouldnt reply after repeated emails they responded by saying " YOUR CLAIM IS NOT ENTITLED FOR REFUND, OWNER PACKED ITEMS ARE SHIPPED AT OWNERS RISK" this reply for a package not delivered . Its the worst company to do business with.

    Moving to BC

My husband and I just moved from Toronto to Vancouver, and Vega Line was the cheapest quote we could find. We do not have much in the way of furniture or valuable items, and could have replaced everything we own for the cost that some of the larger moving companies were charging. Even though we were seeing some terrible reviews online, we knew it was either this or sell everything and start over, and I wasn't willing to do that. To their credit, the moving company subcontracted for pick up by Vega Line called us the day before pick up as promised, showed up on time the next day, were professional, and they were quick to get our stuff across the country, held it in storage as promised, and delivered it all in a timely manner once we arrived. We did take the extra precaution of ensuring that we had every item labeled with our phone numbers and the address that the item was going to, just in case anything was misplaced. All our boxes and items are accounted for after delivery; we are currently staying with family so we have not checked to see if any glass items were broken, but at least everything made it here. We were quoted $1200 for up to 2000lbs, and we weighed everything ourselves before sending it to give a rough estimate of the weight, and we suspect that they may have increased it a little, but not enough to make a fuss. There were a few extra charges, like blankets to protect items, and tax, so the total cost was around $1800. Overall we were happy with the service and would consider using them again.

    Household move: Interprovincial

Horrible experience. We used Vega Line Moving once before in 2010, and were very happy with them. We then used them again in 2011 and it was ridiculous. They damaged many of our items, lost about $3000 worth of other items, and gave us other people's boxes instead. When we tried to resolve the issue we were told they could do anything about it. They wanted us to get quotes from 3 different places for the damages (for each item) and refused to speak with us personally and would only respond by email. And that was very sporadic. We never received any help and they charged us full price for that move. We lost almost $4000 replacing missing and damaged items on top of the moving costs. Never again.

    Vega Line Moving

Avoid this company. They caused over $4000 damage to our furniture. They totally smashed a solid wood bed frame and sofa table and wrenched a leg off an upholstered bench. Their offer of compensation is a laughable $31. Their claims department said they do not cover replacement costs and there is a 20% per year depreciation per piece of furniture. It is apparent that they take no care for your belongings and hold you to ransom by saying they will not deliver until they are paid in full including 3% extra if you pay by visa. They do not respond to telephone calls and are slow to respond to emails. It is obvious that the high rating given on here are fake.

    Move from Vancouver to Etobicoke

I'm very pleased with the long distance moving services I received. I made sure to pack my 15 boxes very securely with packing tape multiple times over all edges and received all in good order. Though my shipment didn't arrive on the dates agreed, I called Alex who was always helpful and informative and received my shipment within a few days time at the then agreed date. I will use Vega Line again as well as I will refer friends/family.

    Small move Victoria to calgary

Do not use this company. They lost half my small shipment of 8 items and what did arrive was damaged. During the move and the claim process I have called numerous times and no one returns my calls. I was referred to the claims department that communicates only via e mail. The leader of the team that arrived to pick up my shipment was rude and only interested in selling me add on services. I did purchase additional packaging for a fragile item as they recommended. This never arrived. They did not have the moving contract priced correctly ( as originally agreed by their salespeople). They demanded a tip. I have used other moving companies before with no problems.

    Moving Services

Moving from Winnipeg to Vancouver, they destroyed a bookshelf, dresser and side table (which arrive with only 3/4 legs, fully disassembled),among many other things, while wrecking the door and walls when moving the stuff into the house. Compensation offered was insulting compared to damage.
