    solar blind

We greatly appreciate the solar blind over our stairwell skylight. Unobtrusive with providing less cost for heat in winter and air conditioning in summer. First rate product, salesmanship, service and follow-up. Relatives purchased products after us on referral. And we are all tough to please! Diana, we appreciate everything you do. Thank you Krumpers! blinds for the back porch

Our 3 season garden room faces west so it has heavy sun in the summer and strong cold winds in the late fall and early spring. We also face the Rideau River so did not want to spoil the view. The Krumper blinds are perfect. Not only do they give us the optimum view of the river, but we are able to comfortably enjoy the porch throughout an extended season. From March to November it is the best room in the house.

    Solar Blinds

My new blinds are absolutely fantastic! They keep my bedroom warm, for the first time in years! With a wall of sliding glass doors - the negative -30 temps in winter were making the room FREEZING! But the whole point of putting the sliding doors in was to see out to the backyard - which I love! Now I'm warm, AND I can see out AND my furnace isn't working overtime anymore just to keep up... Woohoo! I can't say enough about Krumpers Owner - Diana Livshits... A truly wonderful lady, who provides exceptional service! A great product.

    Blinds for the sunroom

We got Krumpers Solar Blinds for our sunroom in 2010 because we loved the idea of retaining the heat in the winter and deflecting it in the summer, all while maintaining the beautiful view of our backyard. The blinds are fabulous and continue to look incredible. Thanks Krumpers.

    Sliding door blinds

This was our second experience with Krumpers Solar Blinds. After years of dealing with a draft from our sliding door, we have finally resolved this problem by getting Krumpers to come in and replace our vinyl blinds with their amazing product. Now when my husband sits with his back to the sliding patio door, there is no longer a draft! The amazing technology of these superb high quality blinds allows us to keep them closed but they still allow the daylight in. Thank you so much for the outstanding service Diana and Yuri...once again!!

    Solar Blinds

Great product! We have big windows and were a bit skeptical that it's going to work..., but these blinds exceeded all our expectations. They do really work! In summer, they keep home cool and less A/C is needed. In winter, they block the cold air from getting in and less heating is needed. They create nice comfort and save energy. We are very happy that we purchased these blinds.

    Blinds on all south-facing windows

South-facing windows make for very warm rooms in summer so I was looking for a way to improve comfort and reduce cooling costs. I saw an ad for Krumpers Solar Blinds and started my research. This product (not to mention Diana and Yuri) are the cadillac of window coverings at a reasonable cost. With options to suit every window type, and a willingness to try different things to ensure happy clients, my experience was terrific. I love my Krumpers - summer and winter! Given the extremely hot summer we just had, I haven't been able to do a perfect cost comparison - but my cooling costs did not go up with the higher temperatures - so that certainly tells you something!! Diana and Yuri keep in touch as well - making sure all of their clients know when the time is right to flip the blinds for the season. I would definitely recommend Krumpers to anyone!!

    Krumpers Solar Blinds

We saw an article in our local newspaper and were going to Ottawa the following week so we visited Krumpers and then they came to measure our windows within a few days of that visit. Installation was on schedule. Diane and Yuri are very knowledgeable and went out of their way to be friendly and courteous. I have contacted Diane a couple of times since and she has been very prompt in answering my questions. We do not hesitate to recommend Krumpers to family and friends.

Krumpers Solar Blinds at our Quebec Cottage

We were surprised that these blinds are so good looking and completely effective in substantially reducing the heat being transmitted through our cottage windows. In our as yet short experience with them, they are everything that is claimed. We had window blinds installed as well as skylight coverings and a trapezoid window covering. They all look good; they work and the service was top-notch. We had the blinds installed in July 2012 and wish we had had them for the last 25 years. In the room that we formerly had to have perpetually darkened in the daytime for heat and fade control, we can now sit inside very comfortably in front of the window with the sun blazing, but not on us, and admire the view.
