We were always cold in the dining room over the garage, and so looked into getting solar blinds to help. We were delighted with Krumpers' service and with our blinds which have been great at keeping our rooms warm when we want warm, and cool when we want cool. An added bonus is that all my plants near the first floor and second floor windows with solar blinds have been doing really well. I'd been apprehensive about them when we added the blinds, but even the violet is thriving, and the avocado plants are shooting up to the sky.

We had Krumpers Solar Blinds installed 2 years ago, and I had always meant to write a review, but simply never got around to it. Last week, I had called Diana & Yury with a question, and they immediately made an appointment to come to our house to follow up. That kind of service demands an excellent review. We have a west-facing house, with many huge windows, and a wonderful view. While we desperately needed protection from the sun, heat, and cold --- I was loathe to live in darkness and give up our lovely view. The solar blinds were an excellent solution. I can still enjoy watching the birds, wildlife, flowers and the changing seasons with the blinds down ---- and at the same time, our house is kept cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter. Diana and Yury have gone way beyond the call of duty in the way of expert advice, professionalism, and personal service calls ---- we were unsure of changing them the very first time, and Yury immediately came over and personally showed us. If only all companies we dealt with had such wonderful commitment and strong customer support. Thank you so much, Diana & Yury

If you want an excellent quality product with excellent timely friendly knowledgeable and capable service, this is the place! Our home has triangular shaped windows which are not totally symmetrical (due to the home settling) but the measurements were done accurately and the blinds built so that they can be reversed seasonally. They do indeed help keep the heat in during the winter and out during the summer, without making the home dark. There is no condensation to worry about. Highly recommended.

Krumpers installed a set of blinds in my home in 2009. Their installation and service was top-notch, they went above and beyond not only installing their product but also fiitting it perfectly with brackets for the additional aesthetic window coverings we wanted to use. Their product has performed wonderfully for us. I recommend Krumpers and their products to everyone. Note: I have no idea what I paid; it was their standard price, whatever that was at the time.

After reading the article in the magazine 55 Plus my husband and I did some research and decided to call Krumpers and book a consultation.Diana and Yuri both came to our home on Patterson lake and and after their explanation of how these blinds work we decided to have them installed in our master bedroom. Our bedroom and master bathroom seemed to always be cold in the winter and we are so pleased that these blinds are absolutely fabulous and have made a great difference this winter.We have a lot of windows and there was no pressure to purchase any more blinds.Diana and Yuri were so kind and wonderful to deal with.Yuri did the installation and was on time and so knowledgeable as we had many questions! He even took the time to fix one of our blinds which was not working properly!!!!!Can't say enough about how pleased we are and would definitely recommend this company ! John & Carmel Cooke

I wrote a review for Krumpers in 2010, because we thought their products were wonderful. At the time, we planned to acquire more. We have - and now are even happier! The blinds work superbly - we have been much more comfortable, both winter and summer, . Now, with the latest addition of custom panels for our large living room window, the radiator can finally keep up! How wonderful to come down to a living room that is no longer chilly on cold winter days, and still enjoy the lovely view! I should add that both workmanship and service were flawless - thank you, Diana and Yuri! And yes, we do plan to cover more windows!

Finally a product that delivers on its promises! The energy savings are terrific but the comfort is sublime. Our family room was always cold in the winter but since we had Krumpers installed the room is so much warmer and the view is great.

Following our move to a new home, we were stumped as to what to use for window coverings, especially for our South-west facing windows. Having read of the Krumper's Solar Blinds I telephoned to make an appointment. Diana and Yuri arrived and were soon measuring! We noted that they didn't try to persuade us to cover other windows, just the ones needing the blinds. How professional! They explained exactly how the blinds would work, giving us daytime privacy yet enabling us to freely see outside! During this hot,> sunny weather, we'd have felt like prisoners in those rooms if needing to keep the curtains closed! Another great factor is that the blinds protect our furniture and floors, free from sun damage and UV rays! The solar blinds have been the answer for us; during the winter months the rooms have been warmer and definitely now in the summer, they are cooler. Such a plus for our heating bills! We appreciate that Diana even e-mails us with a reminder when to turn the blinds for each season! We definitely recommend their blinds! Judy & Bob Carp

I found a spot on one of my sunroom solar blinds located in my sunroom. A home visit was arranged and upon inspection it was a rust mark from a possible leak. The mark was easily removed with a wet cloth. I received this service call at no charge! Now that is service! This product is excellent and I would highly recommend it to everyone.

I saw Krumper's product at one of the Ottawa Home Shows and was impressed. They came to house, measured and installed all to their commit times. I am totally happy with the quality and the benefit to our utility costs. I will be using them again.
