Complete professionals from our first call until the work was finished! The team at Straight Up Masonry did excellent work on a substantial amount of tuckpointing and brick replacement at our house. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing masonry work done.

Terrific service. Came right away for estimate. Appeared and worked efficiently finishing on schedule. Looks great. Responded to email on a Sunday that day. Had a minor problem with my flue due to debris. Showed up day after I called and fixed the problem no charge in 15 minutes. All staff I encountered extremely personable. Totally satisfied.

Tony and Cystal were absolutely great to deal with from the start of the process. Once we decided to go ahead with them for the job, the process was pretty straight forward. They gave an estimated start date which allowed us to plan ahead. From the moment Tony's team (Mitch and Kevin) were on site, there was never any issue. They were great with ensuring things were kept clean and organized. They always ensured we were happy with any decision. It so happened that they could not find the exact match for our brick colour. They went to multiple providers and then brought back a few samples for us to decide on. Also, they proposed some brick design changes, but did not move forward until we were ok with them. They were all great to deal with, and we always felt comfortable asking questions to any of the team. They truly work with you to ensure that you are a happy customer. We've actually had a few neighbours also come by and comment on how they love the job and change in brick design. Thank you Straight Up!

Tony gave us several options in his quote. All communication between Tony, Crystal and us was excellent...clear, concise, honest and comprehensive. The work was begun and completed on time. The clean up was very good. Most of our work was done by Domenic who is a very talented, reliable, responsible young man who knows his craft and takes pride in his work. Straight Up was a pleasure to deal with. They rebuilt 2 chimneys at my home. The workers maintained a clean worksite and were observant of respecting my neighbour's property. We obtained 3 quotes for the job and Straight Up was the most reasonable. I would recommend them to anyone.

I contacted Straight Up Masonry for some basic stone and masonry repair work on the stairs in front of my home in May 2014. They completed the job on time and within budget, and the contractor who performed the work was courteous and professional. My 20-year old steps look brand new, and I'm very pleased with the results. I contacted SUM in April to have chimney repairs made before having a new roof installed. Tony came out to quote on the work which I found to be fair and reasonable. Once you accept the quoted estimate, SUM gives you a tentative start date and will contact you before the promised date if for any reason (weather etc, ) they cannot be there on that day. The gentlemen who arrived in June to do the work were very polite, courteous and took great care to protect the area around their work site. They rebuilt the chimney above the roofline and also replaced damaged bricks below the roof line where necessary. The existing brick was matched perfectly with the new brick. The quality of the work they did reflects the skill and pride of the tradesmen doing the work. On completion the area was cleaned as if they weren't even there. I would not hesitate to call SUM if I were in need of any further masonry repairs and I would recommend SUM to anyone requiring quality masonry work at a fair price

We have used Straight Up Masonry a number of times. Always found the work top notch from quote to completed project. This particular job with Mitch and Kev was very well done, replacing a number of bricks and tuck pointing in the three story wall. Was pleased to see that the area was well cleaned up after they'd completed their work. Would certainly recommend the company for masonry work.
