I needed to replace the top 5 rows of my chimney and cap it. The crew arrived on time, were very curteous and pleasant. They put up scaffolding and took all the necessary precautions. The work was impeccable. They cleaned up, no mess in sight. Very pleased.

Tony, Crystal & Straight Up Masonry were very straightforward and easy to deal with. I only had to speak to them on the phone on one occasion to setup the initial quote. Everything else was done over email and communication with them was simple and prompt. I've never had such a stress-free experience with a service provider before. PLUS, the chimney now looks GREAT! Tony Devlin gave me an estimate that honest and very acceptable. Due to rain, the commencement of the job had to be delayed a couple of days. Tony's crew was very efficient and very professional. They erected the required scaffolding, dismantled the chimney and then repaired my roof . I did not need to hire a roofer as other contractors specified. They were very respectful of my next door neighbour's property especially when they had to use the neighbour's flat roof to access my roof (very limited space between properties). They were very thorough with their clean up. They did such a good job that I contracted Tony to provide another estimate to remove a 2nd chimney and to do some brick pointing that was needed. This second contract was done with the same professionalism at the first job.

I had asked for a few companies to provide a quote to fix brick work, remove a retaining wall to get to the bricks and fix the interlock so the water was away from the house bricks. All of them with the exception of Straight Up Masonry provided higher quotes and informed that I was responsible for the retaining wall removal and replacing. Straight up Masonry provided a quote for all the work and cheaper than anyone else. They came on time and kept the whole place clean at all times and completed the whole to perfection. They also fixed some of the parging as well without charging me. I could not have asked for anything more. Thank you Straight up Masonry for a fantastic Job well done...

I found Straight Up Masonry on Homestars after reading other great reviews. I contacted their office for a quote and Tony came out to my house within days. The quote was the lowest of the many I received. Form the office, Crystal kept me up-to-date on the timing of the project (there were a few weather delays) and they showed up a few days earlier than they originally said. Tony's team was very knowledgable and they did an amazing job! The brick colour matched the existing brick and the pillar looks fantastic. I think that Tony and Crystal have provided great customer service and an excellent final product. I've recommended Straight Up Masonry to all my neighbours for any brick work.

The old chimney(86) yrs was starting to crumble after many patches requested 3 quotes Straight UPMasonry came in at 30% less than the other two. Answered all questions professionally and with full disclosure of what was to be done and when. Work was completed on time despite the 40 degree humidex with great attitude on the part of the crew completely cleaned up afterwards. Had one minor concern upon inspection sent an email with photo and Tony Devlin was here within 30 minutes and resolved my concern. Have already recommended this company to one of my neighbours. A very professional outfit, well run by Tony Devlin. The crew (Jessie and Darrell) were punctual, cordial and polite; a 2 day job was completed in 1 day with no fuss and no mess. I still have some more of those apples, Tony!

The crew at Straight Up Masonry did an exceptional job on our basement and exterior foundation wall. So much so that even with the recent rain (causing flooding pretty much everywhere) our basement was completely dry! The crew that came were respectful, clean and done on time. Tony even came by himself to check that everything was ok, which we really appreciated. The price was very reasonable, and we were happy to pay it for a dry basement! We would definitely recommend Straight Up Masonry to anyone.
