We have called and met with a few Interlock contractors based on high reviews from this website. Nino from True North stood out from the rest by projecting an image of a seasoned “hands on” professional with down to earth attitude. Few things impressed me right from the start: He did not have this ‘salesmen’ mask that you some times see in people that just want to get your business. He didn't criticise our ideas or visions (like some did), however made his recommendations and suggestions explaining pros and cons. He was reasonably priced compared to some other quotes that I received before, It was not the lowest number as well. After checking references and previous jobs, we granted contract to True North Interlocking. Nino pointed out a drain issue on a side walk and recommended a solution. True North team were accurate, respectful and polite, they always did clean job and cleaned up the place before leaving. Of course as in every project there were misunderstandings and mistakes made from both sides, I am talking about our poor decisions as well, but and i want to emphasize it, we were able to resolve those discrepancies and still maintain positive friendly attitude, I think this is one of the key qualities that is so rarely seen between people. At the end the job was done, corrections that needed to be made were made. I am confident that Nino will stand up for his word and will provide a good support in future if required. Overall we are very pleased with our choice and we would hire True North again.

I picked this company from the internet because I liked their name! I spoke with Nino, explained it was for the front walkway, very simple. I picked my stones, the quote was reasonable and it was what we paid. The job was done promptly, and the crew was courteous and professional. No problems with anyone. The walkway looked refreshed and made the house look much better! Great job! I have recommended this company to friends.

We called True North Interlock based on the reviews on this website for a quote. Nino put us at ease in explaining how the work would be done, and provided us with references so we could see examples of his work. We visited one of their jobsites in progress with three homes that were side by side in Newmarket. He was the only contractor who said he would dig 10 inches and offered a 3 year guarantee on the workmanship. Nino also pointed out a grading issue to our neighbour. Based on this, we and our neighbour hired True North to interlock our backyard patios. Nino’s crew came to work during some of the hottest days in July and early August. The patio stones were laid in a pattern that looks much better than the suggested patterns in the brochures. We appreciate the time they took to cut our border pieces into wedges for the outside curves of the patio rather than cut little wedge pieces to fill the gaps. The only thing we would have done differently is to get all the details of the work to be done written into the contract. This would have helped to avoid any misunderstandings and ensure the work was completed as expected. We appreciate Nino’s understanding and professionalism as he and his crew worked diligently to address our concerns. We look forward to enjoying our patio in the years to come and are assured Nino will be there to stand behind his work such as fixing any grading issues.

Nino and his team are professional, hard working, cheerful, and extremely anxious to please. We looked around at different contractors and then came across the consistently high scores on this site. They are more than justified, and we are adding our top marks for a job very well done! One aspect that we did not expect was the creativity that Nino brings to a project. He was able to make some excellent suggestions and provide options, which made the whole experience so much easier. We are delighted with the end result and would recommend Nino without reservation. We recently hired Nino and his crew to install an interlocking pathway and flagstone porch in front of our house. After our initial consultation with Nino, we felt confident that he would do a great job and he definitely did! He met with us several times before starting our job, helping us to pick the right stones to compliment the exterior of our home. Once the work began, Nino and his crew worked diligently completing their work in a timely manner and obviously taking great pride in the quality of their work. His crew was very friendly and cleaned up each day. The work was outstanding and we were thrilled with the results! We have received numerous compliments from our neighbours and friends. In fact, two of our neighbours have hired Nino since and are also very happy with his work! Nino - he is reliable and takes great pride in his work! Professionalism and trustworthy are the two best words to describe Nino and True North Interlocking. From the initial meeting to the final product he was informative, helpful, and a pleasure to deal with. No surprises, and he kept us uptodate on exactly what/when the work was going to be completed. I shopped around for a few weeks before going with Nino. Now I really like to look at my driveway and patio. Nino has years of experience and he really does know his stuff. You can expect good quality at relatively speaking reasonable cost. I am very happy to have selected True North.

The side of the house was sinking by almost 3 feet and the interlock was getting apart. True North did amazing fixing this plus regraded it beautifully for ever. They made everything look so good. They even changed the pattern and it looks much much better. I recommend them to anyone that need interlock job.

Though it was only a small space, Nino really listened to what my vision was, provided some good suggestions and went over what he was going to do thoroughly.
