    Service

    Service was done at my home on Dec 11/24. The person that showed up to do the service on my system was great. He fixed my issue plus he replaced all the batteries in the sensors at N/C.

    Great service

    We had a technician come out to change our sensor batteries and install a new device on another door. He was very nice and efficient.

    Home security services

    Excellent customer service, have this system for more than 10 years and upgraded to digital system. Really satisfied!!!!!

    Tech support on security alarm

    I called tech support this morning about a hardware which needed to be upgraded. The staff I spoke to was very pleasant and explained everything to me in details. Gave me options to choose from. Booked my appointment quickly and very helpful!

    Alarm Service

    Every year this company sends me a bill. My contract has been cancelled since 2017 and I paid all the outstanding balances up to 2019 to the amount of $508.50 and $344.65 for 2018. My line has been disconnected since 2017. Even though I have called to inform them to cancel my line as a result of the major renovation in my home, this company still finds a way to intimidate me to pay them money. Their agents are sloppy and they do not know how to do proper documentation when a customer asks for cancellation. Buyer beware! Who sends a bill for a home that they didnt monitor and cannot prove that they are monitoring it when theres no line connection? They find a way to squeeze money out of me when they know they didnt provide any services. I have all my receipts that they sent to me up to 2019 July. So, BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY!!!!

    New Build: Contracted to install low voltage + add-ons

    This company is HORRIBLE. We took occupancy of our home in August 2021. The builder (The Conservatory Group) contracted out the Low voltage wiring and central vac system to Grand Alarms. We spent hours going over the layout of the home with the salesperson Mary and chose the exact location for tel/ethernet, co-ax and add-ons: cat6 wiring, conduit above the fireplace for the TV and cat5e wiring for security cameras. 25% of the outlets were where we specified, and NONE of our add-one were complete. To top it off this company has never responded/spoken with me directly. I have engaged BBB to facilitate a resolution. Rather than actually come and install what they bunged up, they have offered to refund my deposit. This was 8 months ago… Stay Away from Grand Alarms!

    Install Nightmare

    I used Grand Alarms a while ago as my new home builder required me to use them as part of the electrical/data wiring install so the alarm was thrown in as part of the electrical package. When connecting the home phone line to their alarm box their installer did not bring any phone jack connectors so he cut into my existing phone cable from the modem, spliced it with tape back to his alarm box, so now I have this spliced main phone cable taped wire circuit from my modem to the alarm box and to my phone.

    Upgrading of our security cameras

    Very satisfied with the service. Reasonable price. Tech.support team response so quick. I like alarm com app. It is very convenient and user friendly. I can arm stay or away by using my mobile phone and can get notifications over the phone anywhere.
