I had grand alarms set me up with an affordable alarm system. They were very patient with me as I inquired about the different services that they offer. I had them install an alarm system with a GSM unit and a camera system, and I'm very happy with it. The system works flawlessly and the wiring was done very cleanly. They even helped me extend an existing telephone cable to the other side of the room. Overall, I'm very happy with their service as well as their products. Highly recommended!

Researched several companies before choosing Grand Alarms. They came recommended through friends. I was only looking for a wired system, nothing wireless. Having had the work done now, I can certainly recommend them. The installer knew what he was doing and was able to "fish" wires around the place so well, he made it look easy! He was polite, courteous and left everything clean. The follow-up service has been very good - I needed some settings changed and some additional paperwork sent out. All done, no problem.

Angela Gontier was very patient & helpful with us re: wiring and was very good at responding to our e-mail questions. She helped us to select our locations for our various wiring (internet, cable tv, phone, etc) based upon our room layout. Amanda Powar from Grand Alarms handled all my queries in a professional manner, incl. all of our follow-up points.

I was looking for a security monitoring service that charges a reasonable price and won't obliged me to add any additional features just because I'm using VoIP or anything other than a land-line telephone service. Even if the companies provide feature that accommodates VoIP, they don't cover every VoIP provider in the province. After dealing with my usual picks (which you see their ads on tv, radio & the web...), I went to HomeStar site for reference. I gave Grand Alarm a call and their fluent response was surprising. It impresses me not only on the fact that they offer a very good price for monthly monitoring fees, they also provide you with options & featurettes that won't blow your wallet. Moreover, they won't sequentially coerce you to obtain any additional feature that others will tell you, "... We strongly suggest you to take the option, otherwise we cannot guarantee blah blah blah, you're at your own risk blah blah blah..." Bav, the representative of GA was very professional and friendly to deal with. Instantly he accessed the data of our new home from the online builder site info and found out that our house has already been pre-wired by the builder for alarm sensors on windows & doors. The technician came and installed the system within a few hours, without any fuzz! The system was easy to use and fool-proof for the tech-illiterate in our house hold... Honestly, I rarely gave out five stars but I really have to give it to GA because of their professionalism. No wonder they have such high rankings at Home Star!

Since we meet with Romina Tataeva we had a very good impression of the company. Romina was very helpful and provide excellent information about the product. The company site was very clean and well decorated, it really made us comfortable to get services from Grand Alarms. Close to the installation date, I received a call from Amanda Powar, who again was pleasant to talk to and answered my questions in a very professional manner. The technician was also helpful and make sure the system works before he left. So far, we are very happy with the service. THANKS

It is said that people and service makes or breaks a company! it stands very true with "Built in Technology". We had very prompt and pro-active follow-up with Elise to book our appointment and we had it today. She is very professional and knowledgeable about the products and services and made excellent recommendations. I have been with "BiT" since 2005 and had excellent service; thus chose to go with them again! We purchased an Alarm system(really worth it when purchasing a new house as all the pre-wiring is done at construction time) and Flex Pipe for the Family room. Overall, I would highly recommend "BiT" to anyone due to its people(Elise is simply great to deal with) and service.

Grand Alarms installer was spectacularly clean and efficient. all the wires are appropriately hidden in the basement and the key pad/ sensor areas are clean and working properly. We have recommended them to friends.

I met with Mary in their decore center. I think they are the only alarm company with a decore center ! Huge place and she spent the time to show me all the options available for my home. Central Vac, GDO, Alarms it was amazing talk to a real professional.
