    Accurate estimate, arrived early and did a few extras. Very personable and high quality work. Highly recommend

    TUCKPOINTING AND PARGING

    All I can say is I am extremely happy with the work done by Browne's Contracting. Mike and colleague were very professional and friendly, they did such a good job it is hard to find where the repairs were done. The quote was reasonable and they even repaired more than was quoted. I would definitely recommend Browne's Contracting.

    Tuckpointing

    Browne's Contracting recently completed tuckpointing as needed along the entire facade of my newly purchased house. We are extremely happy with the work; Mike was able to match the colour of the existing mortar so well that the repairs blend seemlessly, despite the house being almost 100 years old. Browne's Contracting genuinely distinguished himself from other contractors that I have recently hired. Not only was his work excellent, but he was also communicative, reliable, and honest. Mike went out of his way to work around a number of timing constraints and set backs caused by other contractors. I will definitely be returning to Browne's Contracting, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them in the future.

    Masonry Under New Window

    We did a major reno on our house including reducing the size of our kitchen window. We needed someone to brick up the space that was left under the window after the company we originally hired left us in the lurch. Browne's Contracting to the rescue! Even though it was a very small job, Mike responded to our request quickly, came out to the house to see what needed to be done, quoted a reasonable price and his guys did a fantastic job, matching the brick and making the wall look uniform instead of patchy. Will be keeping their info for future jobs and would recommend them highly.

    Tuck-pointing

    We are very pleased with Mike's initial response, quote and his actual work. He is pleasant to interact with and did exactly what he quoted and more, while he was doing it and he found a few more crack.

    Tuckpointing and parging

    Like so many other of MIke's customers we are very pleased with his work. He was very professional in every aspect from beginning to end of the project. He was prompt in showing up and completed the job when he said he would. He takes immense pride in his work and the excellent results are the proof. I would be very pleased to recommend him again.

    Masonry

    Mike was professional and personable at every step of the way, and we are pleased that we hired him to do a small masonry work of maintaining the brick and grout on our home. He paid attention to detail and cleaned the work area when the job was completed. Mike takes pride in his work, and treats his clients with consideration. Highly recommend, we would hire him again.

    masonry step brick replacement and pointing

    Mike Browne was professional throughout this small but important job. He was prompt and efficient on all counts: inspection,giving estimate, matching bricks and mortar colour, doing job, asking for feedback. I am very pleased with the masonry and the service. The cost was in line with the competition. Would not hesitate to recommend Browne's Contracting and glad that the company was recommended to me

    Brick and Mortar Repair

    Mike helped me with brick repair on my house, where some areas were in desperate need of remediation. Reviewing the areas with Mike, he went into great detail as to the work that needed to be done and to point out problem areas that needed addressing. I ended up hiring Mike to perform some more work on other sides of my house after seeing his great attention to detail for the initial area of concern. He went through great lengths to perfectly match the mortar to the existing look, and the result was indistinguishable from the rest of the house. if I ever need further tuckpointing or brick repairs completed, I wouldn't hesitate to give Mike a call.

    Tuck pointing on foundation

    We discovered late in November that a large section of the foundation in our a new-to-us, 115 year old house had some serious gaps that needed filling. It went unnoticed because that wall is only 12 inches away from our neighbours. There were also bricks that needed parging. A very difficult space to work in and we really wanted it done before winter. Other contractors turned down the job because of the tight space. Mike came to see it in person to confirm he could fit (just!) and agreed to the work for a reasonable price. He was very courteous, keen to explain and show in detail what he was doing and why. We are very happy with the finished work.
