    Unethical

    One of the most unethical companies i have encountered. First of all they outsourced their work to another "sister" company so i was a little confused when a service tech came by from this other company . i requested a quote to have someone come in and look at fixing a humidifier that was leaking. The service tech came in and charged me $160 "Assessment charge " just to tell me what i already relayed to them when i reached out . I asked him to have his company give me a price for a new one, and come the next day to install. Another technician came by the next day and installed the humidifier and when i got the bill it had another "assessment charge" . I asked why i was charged again for an assessment. The technician said it was standard practice, and that i should call the company to dispute and get a refund . I called a number of times, and the last conversation was i was told that the manager would look into it and reverse the charge. To date i havent heard from them not have i got the refund. Will never do business with Boonstra or their "sister company again".

    Duct Cleaning

    Chris and Joe were in to do my duct cleaning on Oct. 26/19 which was complementary with my furnace & A/C install in Stoney Creek. Great couple of young men, very professional, helpful and did a terrific job. Keep up the great service.

    Annual service call re furnace/AC

    Charlie was efficient, helpful and prompt Gave me some good suggestions on my existing system and thoughts on a new one for next year. Would be delighted to continue to use this company and recommend.

    furnace maintenance

    Had a strange furnace problem, technician found no reason. Did annual maintenance per contract. All is good now. Well done, happy there was no real problem, after the first incident.

    New Furnace and Air Conditioning

    We met with Remo, the Boonstra consultant on Saturday a.m., with regard to installing a new furnace and A/C. He was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. We gave him the go ahead Monday morning and he proceeded to make all the arrangements to have their installers arrive after the energy audit company completed their work on Tuesday morning. We came home this afternoon to a cool home and spotless work area. Dismantled furnace was taken away. Installer was well informed and also very professional. The entire project was seamless from start to finish and stress free. Highly recommend Boonstra for all your furnace and air conditioning needs.

    AC Repair

    Called Boonstra Sunday AM, when AC unit went down over the weekend. Had a technician to us that afternoon. Luke did a great job of quickly recognizing the part that needed to be replaced. Explained what he was doing and ensured all was working well once the part was replaced. Very courteous service. No trying to upsell or say we needed a new unit like so many operations in this space these days.

    AC fix on short notice

    I came home from a funeral, it's Friday 3:30pm, 32 degrees and muggy. The AC is dead. I call Boonstra, and they have a tech out to my place by 7:30pm. It's Adrian's last call of the day and he's tired and hot, but he does an A+ job, doesn't rush through it, and re-fixes the AC when the original part he installed wasn't working properly. I recommend Boonstra for fast, professional service

    Freezing Cold Water

    Horrible! Tankless water heater install and now freezing cold water, freezings cold showers, washimg hair in sink, boiling water to hand wash dishes instead of using cold water in dishwasher

    Furnace, A/C and Water Heater

    Boonstra service manager was excellent and attentive to my requirements. The service technicians were able to complete the job and leave things tidy. I trust their service level will continue. I choose them as they were attentive vs the bigger companies like enercare which have too many layers of bureaucracy. I appreciated the attention that was given by the service manager.

    HVAC service

    We've been customers of Boonstra since they installed our HVAC & water heater system over six years ago. We have complete trust in their products and their comprehensive service by professional, technically excellent, friendly and accommodating service personnel.
