Upgrading electrical system
Mr Bill Tang himself and his team of electricians helped us with the upgrading of our electrical system in March 2015. That was a full week job in our house. We must say that Mr Tang and his team were highly professional, serious, clear and cordial at every stage of the process. He explained us in great detail the job to be done before it began. During the process, we asked several questions about it which were answered again in a professional and detailed way. That was the case as well with all electricians of the team. At the end, all issues were once again dealt with with clarity and precision. We got the appropriate official documentation from ESA, and a commitment from Mr Tang to respond to any issue arising from the job. So far everything is clear and we have a good functioning electrical system. We will recommend Mr Tang to friends and relatives with no hesitation!

Knob & tube and then some!
When our new home purchase included knob and tube wiring, the insurance company was hesitant to cover it. Luckily for us, Bill and his team made themselves available right at our closing and completed the job quickly and efficiently. Beyond that, they made suggestions for installation options that never would have occurred to us -- indeed, they helped us to better see the potential of what our new home could be! We'll definitely call KNT Electric again for any future work and recommend that others do, too.

knob & tube replacement
We were impressed with Bill and his very professional approach right away. He was thorough in his assessment and found problems where others had not. The quote was competitive and very transparent. His team was quick, clean and worked very hard. We will call KNT in the future for our electrical needs.

Knob & Tube Wiring Replacement
From our original meeting, to the detailed walk through and diagramming of our project, to the daily updates, to the cleanup of the site, to the completion of our project, Bill and his team at KNT were the consummate professionals. His quote was not only competitive and fair, but very accurate, and any additional tasks and costs the cropped while the work was being done were vetted with us prior to being added to the bottom line. We are happy to recommend Bill's services to any family or friends that are looking for a professional, honest and highly competent electrician.

Replace knob and tube and add light fixtures
Bill Tang has been 100% professional with us and has instilled this in the team that worked at our house, led by Ken and Tim. This was completed in October, 2014. From his estimate visit we were comfortable we were dealing with a knowledgeable professional electrician and the results proved that. Throughout the job, we were kept up to date as to status and the job was completed well. His team were, besides doing a great job, extremely polite and extremely tidy. Bill and everyone have a great work model in terms of quoting, work ethic, tracking actual cost against quoted cost, billing and communication. I can truly recommend KNT and thank them all for their work at our house.

Electrical Upgrade
There is a reason why all the reviews on this website are positive, KNT Electric does great work. They are fast and hard working when on the job site. I was surprised on the first day they were here, within a half hour of walking through the home with TIm, there were holes and wires running in between the walls, they literally don't waste any time. They always showed up on time and always cleaned up after themselves at the end of the day. My experience with all this upgrading to the electrical couldn't have been better, I'm glad I went with KNT. They are honest and transparent with what they are doing. If I had any questions during the day, there was always someone there ready to listen and answer my questions. If you need electrical work done, don't hesitate and give these guys a call, you won't regret it.

Removal of K & T, Pot Lights, Media Equipment Prep, Bathroom Fans, Exterior, Fans, Relocation of Outlets
Bill, and his team led by Tim, were simply "Par Excellence" A well deserved A++. KnT delivered beyond our expectations. On time, on budget and were so accommodating on every single request. Hire this company and you will not regret it!

Knob and tube removal
Bill and his team have an extremely well-deserved reputation. Bill came out and looked at my house just hours later. We isolated which breaker the knob and tube was on, and he told me that if I didn't hear complaints from the tenants in the rest of the house that we would be fine. Unfortunately, I did end up hearing a complaint, so that mean that the electrical line which didn't appear to be feeding anything on the second or third floor ended up feeding a main floor light. He was able to schedule a time almost immediately and his team performed all of the work- and even a little bit more that I had asked for last minute- with the utmost professionalism. In rewiring the light that was being fed on the main floor by the knob and tube to hook into the electrical in the entrance hall, some more knob and tube was uncovered and was switched out that day, as well. I would hate to run into anything in the future, but if I do I will absolutely be calling KNT. I will even see about having them out - if possible - to do any electrical work that I may need in the future.

upgrade from Knob & tube to ESA codes
The KNT team, including owner and project managers were transparent, accurate and organised on all aspects of our project. We selected them over two other companies referred by homestars. As owners of a Toronto home, but living in Ottawa, communications was key, and KNT delivered with flying colors.

Knob and Tube replacement
Bill and team did a quick and efficient job of replacing the knob and tube of our whole house. They were courteous and were able to work around a bathroom renovation being done at the same time. They have been open and flexible to come back after the job when I had some concerns and ensure everything was addressed. I appreciate the transparency of Bill's pricing and the level of detail he provides in his quote as this job can be quite overwhelming. Thanks for the great job Bill!
