K H Davis Engineering was a fantastic partner on our residential renovation project. They seamlessly collaborated with our interior design team, using our drawings to efficiently and accurately produce their structural set. Their communication was prompt and thorough, and they were always happy to answer any questions, making the entire process smooth and stress-free. They also handled the permit application, and thanks to their clear and precise drawings, we received approval much faster than expected. We found out about K.H. Davis Engineering through the underpinning company that worked on our basement in November/December 2024. Jomar came to our home to do the initial drawings for the underpinning work and was great! Very personable, and was able to give ideas and solutions for potential issues we may encounter. After the underpinning work was complete I reached out to Jomar again to assist with final drawings to get permits for the finishing work. Again he was great! We recently worked with Jomar on a residential underpinning project and we couldnt be more impressed. Jomar's patience and ability to explain complex structural concepts in clear laymans terms made the entire process much less daunting. He was consistently quick to respond, clear and concise in his communication and creative in his structural approach, which allowed us to navigate challenges seamlessly. I used K.H. Davis for restructuring my basement and plan drawings for finishing it. They are great to work with and accommodating with schedules. We are a 10 person Architectural firm who help our Clients create beautiful, affordable, low carbon renos and new homes. We couldn't do this work without a great supporting cast of whom Jomar, Kevin, Ken and their team at KH Davis are long-time collaborators. We hired Jomar at KH Davis to lead the structural engineering design for a renovation of our house and addition. From great work on the drawings to working with an arborist, the city, and our contractors, Jomar and the KH Davis have been outstanding.
