I called a number of electricians before settling on Ring Electric. Some others charge for a quote or are generally difficult to contact. Ring was highly professional with their communications. In terms of the work, they were on time, efficient, clean and the net result works perfectly. One of the units we had supplied for them to install was defective (not their fault) so they troubleshooted it on the spot, provided replacement parts free of charge and followed up later to make sure everything was working. As well, Ring could not complete one aspect of the installation due to old wiring and they did not charge anything despite having to take time for their assessment. All in all, top quality service at a reasonable price.

I revamped my kitchen and needed an extra electrical outlet installed so I could move my fridge to a better location. Since I have an unfinished basement I figured it would not be too costly. Worker was on time, friendly, provided quick service and took the time to show me exactly what he was doing in the basement and in the kitchen and asked me if I had any questions along the way.

We used Ring Electric on 2 separate occasions and we are happy to say that we would use them for any future projects. While a bit pricier than other electricians, they do great work, are punctual (a big plus in their industry) and are professional in how they deal with you. Bryan runs a tight ship and I was always impressed with the people he has working for him.

Minor repairs required. Called another firm first and was not impressed by the Tech's knowledge or estimate which was 4 times higher than Ring's. Looked at online reviews and thought I'd try Ring. Tech from Ring was very professional, knowledgeable and fast. Would definitely use again!

Great business plan including written contract, electrical permit, CSA inspections, dependable scheduling and professional services. In my experiences, this is almost unique in the industry. And I feel safe and sound.

The electrical inspector has come and gone and, as we all expected, was totally satisfied with Ring Electric's work. Clearly, he has a very positive feeling about you and your fine (BBB A+) company! As owner and CEO, Bryan deserves a special praise for putting together and guiding such an exceptional team. Ring is without doubt the most completely professional company we've ever hired, from yourself and charming Krystle, to super Project Manager Mark and his talented assistants. Ring has all the right stuff.

We had a strange power outage after a thunderstorm had passed through. Half of the lights and outlets in the house didn't work. Within 2-3 hours after I contacted Ring, a polite and efficient electrician showed up and was quickly able to tell me that the problem was outside of my home and therefore Hydro Ottawa'a problem. They told me who to call and what to tell them. Excellent and rapid service. A little pricey for 15 minutes.

This contractor came to our home, on time, and spent the time necessary to go through deficiencies and explain fixes. He (Bryan Verhulp) was polite, professional and treats little jobs with the same importance as big jobs. Also, a no pressure attitude. I will def be hiring them in the future and he came highly recommended from a friend who had major work done in a house reno in the Glebe. They were very happy with the work done. over a months time

Bryan was recommended and came to do some electrical work which was required by a home inspector. He showed up on time, and did quality work for a reasonable price.

Bryan has completed numerous projects for me with the precision of an Engineer. I won't use anyone else. One of my pet peeves is contractors who don't show. If Bryan books for 7 am, better be out of your pj's by 6:45 and expect excellent work.
