    Living room built ins

    We cannot be happier with the work Steven and his comapny have done to transform our living room. The design and execution was flawless. Steven came to our home and sat down to understand what we wanted. He had great design ideas and had endless samples on hand so we could see what were dealing with. On installation day, the installers arrived on time, they ensured the work area was covered to prevent damage to floors etc. We appreciated that the minor details like holes for the AV wiring/plugs were verified before drilling. They did a thorough cleaning after, it was hard to tell it was literally a workshop a few hours earlier.

    Dining Room Built-In including Rad Cover and Window Reframing

    Steven was a pleasure to deal with from the get go. Communication via email and phone were always returned promptly. His design ideas are aesthetically pleasing and proportional. I have an older home where walls and corners are not perfectly square / flat but the built-in looks part of the original home. Everything on my wish list (window casing build out in dining room and master bedroom, integrated removable rad cover, closed cabinetry for shoe storage, floor to ceiling unit, mesh grill to match existing, reasonable timeline, reasonable price) was granted and the results are phenomenal. Steven and his team's attention to detail and precision in woodworking is of the highest standard and quality. I would definitely recommend and use Black Forest Woodworking again!

    Cabinets

    I have worked with many contractors and cabinet makers and I can say that Istvan and his crew were my best experience by far. They are professional, on time and pay extreme attention to every detail of the job. Istvan himself is very accommodating and helps you with the design details to ensure end product is perfect. Thank you Istvan for the professional work and I am sure I will be using you guys again in the future!

    Storage cabinets and entertainment unit

    Steven and his team did a wonderful job with the storage cabinets and entertainment unit that truly completed our recently finished basement. Steven gave us great ideas for the design and finishes, the whole team was very professional. We are very happy with the results and definitely recommend them.

    Wood work

    Steven came to provide a timely quote on wood work that we were planning to do. Lovely and professional company to deal with. We would definitely consider working with them in the future.

    Wall unit and window bench

    I met with Steven almost immediately after I sent him an email for a quote. He came by and started measurements and drawings and sent me a quote the next day. His pricing was reasonable as I had compared his with a few other places. We went with him right away and his team went right to work. Steven provided some timelines when the install would be ready and he stuck to them. The job took a few days to set up everything -- Atilla and Zsoet were such a pleasure to deal with. Very friendly and kind and always left everything so clean as if it were their home. Would recommend Black Forest to anyone who wants professionals to deal with and high-quality, superior final product! Will definitely be using them again! Thanks, Black Forest Woodworking!

    Bathroom vanity & linen closet

    Istvan!!! It's a New Year and 2017 is off to an amazing start with our new, sparkling spa-like bathroom. Thank you so much for stepping in to save the day. Our only condo family bathroom project had come to a standstill. No callbacks from our cabinet guy and search for others left us desperate. My husband is the king of research, and despite being super busy, you came to see us. The double vanity is GORGEOUS and the linen closet door tres chic! Your open mindedness, attention to detail, honesty and kindness is exceptional. Attila and Alex were amazing too. Please thank them again for me. I can't tell you how much peace and calm I get from that room. The quality is top notch and trust me, I've already enjoyed a few glasses of nice wine in there. It's nice to feel at home again. If we ever get a house YOU are doing all the rooms!!!

    Bedroom floor to ceiling built in unit

    We found Steven and Black Forest Woodworking company on Homestar and we were impressed by excellent reviews. Since we live on east end of GTA we were initially skeptic he would accept to visit and provide a quote. After an initial call, Steven accepted to come on site for consultation. Steven professionally answered all our questions and provided a competitive quote and reasonable timeline. Steven accommodated our requirements and help us design and build a floor to ceiling build-in unit including a desk and suspended book shelving in one bedroom (using the space of a build in closet). Also, in a second bedroom he designed and built an additional built in unit. The majority of the work was performed offsite. During this phase we maintained a good communication by email or phone calls. The installation took about 2 days and our project was completed ahead of the provided time schedule. We are very happy and impressed with the final result, so that we decided to work with Black Forest Woodworking company again. Quality or workmanship, attention to details, positive attitude, punctuality highly recommend Steven.

    Bedroom Closets

    We had Black Forest start with closets for our kids bedrooms. Older north york home with small rooms.Stephen was outstanding re design.The quality of his work is exceptional.His work was so good we just had him return in October to build a new closet in our bedroom and hallway. The professionalism of this company and the gentlemen who did the installation is beyond words. We plan to use them again for a basement project. Amazing woodwork and the attention to detail. So nice to say that for both projects we wouldnt be able to find even a tiniest thing in any room which we needed them to adjust or fix. Highly recommend Black Forest.

    TV wall unit

    I contacted Steven from Black Forest Woodworking on referral from my mother-in-law, who had had a beautiful wall unit built by them. Upon meeting Steven, I felt completely comfortable and confident. He is very pleasant and professional with a great design sense. He was very open to working on the design together. I couldn't be happier with the finished product in my home. The quality is impeccable and Jolt, who installed the unit at my home, was an absolute perfectionist. I will be contacting Steven for future projects and would recommend them without a doubt. P.S. I am from Mississauga not London. Not sure why my account says that.
