Thank you to Mark Linnemoller. He came to my home and took the time to explain their business and services as well as the installation process from beginning to end so that I would know exactly what to expect. I was very impressed with his knowledge, communication and professionalism. I chose Northern Comfort to do my windows because of this initial experience. I was further impressed by the crew Rob, John and Andy who installed my windows. They were very experienced, courteous and it was a joy to have them in my home. Our windows look fabulous due to their hard work and unwavering focus while they performed their duties. Thank you all so much for such a smooth and stress free experience. Both my husband and I are very thrilled.

They cleaned up the site when completed. Explained things as he did the job. Great quality patio doors and took away all the old doors and supplies. Took off the trim like we asked and sealed it up till we are able to put the new stuff up. Even fixed a patch (caulking) in our other door that was installed by them last year without any hesitation, it just got missed as we had no deck there at the time and now we do, therefore you could see it. Hired them for windows/doors/garage doors. Price was reasonable and they did a good job on the installation. Overall, I'm pleased with the product. However, the post install service can be improved. A couple of things arrived with missing/defective pieces, or were not what I ordered (an understandable issue given the size of the project). The problem is that I have been waiting for 6 weeks for them to come back to correct these problems. I have been assured that the items/parts are on order, but given the minor nature of the outstanding items I find 6 weeks a little excessive. Especially since I paid in full on the date of the install. If the outstanding issues had been corrected in a timely manner I would have given them a 10. Invoice # 95970

We did a lot of comparison shopping and it was worse than buying a used car. When than met with Dennis from Northern Comfort and knew this was the company for us. The windows, price and service all exceeded our expectations and we couldn't be happier. A special thanks to Ernie and Phil, for doing a wonderful installation.

Windows were installed ahead of schedule. Installers were professional and courteous. Weather was so hot the caulking melted and looked messy. They came back a month later (when it cooled down) and replaced it all - no questions asked. Great experience!

Price was fair, but quality of work, attention to detail and customer service is where they shine. I first had a complex two story front door with overhead glass custom made and installed. Called them back for a second project to replace two front windows and two garage doors. Invoice #96105

When we were shopping around for new windows we received 5 different quotes and north star was not the cheapest nor were they the most expensive we found the sales representative Peter was very helpful and suggested that we go to the showroom to see there full line of Windows. With this advice we ended up doing something that we never even considered before and love how it improved the appearance of the house inside and out. We found that they were very attentive to our needs and listened to our concerns and did follow up visits to ensure everything was to our satisfaction. The only real issue we had was that the manufacturer sent 1 window the wrong size so had to wait for another one to be made which was another 6 weeks.

We had replacement windows installed in our house. Salesman was professional and able to give us an onsite price estimate on first visit. The installation team did a great job installing but left the windows dirty with fingerprints/adhesive on the glass . I would recommend that the windows come with plastic protection or that Northern Comfort follow through with someone to clean the glass after installation . Dirty windows are bad first impression and since our house is a 2 storey we require a ladder to clean some of the upper windows. Paul D.
