    Electrical rewiring

    Vancity Electric is by far the best and most professional electrical company we've ever worked with. We're doing some rewiring and installing of new fixtures in our heritage home, and our concern of course is that we maintain the integrity of the original walls and structure. Corey himself has done the bulk of the work, and we can't be more pleased. Very helpful and knowledgeable. The quality is beyond reproach, and we can't really say enough good things about timeliness and effective communication throughout the whole process. Highly recommended.

    Heat Pump Addition

    Had the opportunity to have Van City Electric Co-Owner Cory Byron come to my house to do the electrical work for a new heat pump addition. He was prompt, professional, courteous and very informative as we went along in a crawl space which is never very fun. All in all the job was done great and in perfect timing to make it easy on the HVAC installer to do his job. Would recommend a million times, thanks Cory

    Wiring for lighting in residential home.

    These guys were great right from the first phone call. I was renovating my small duplex and required new lighting and outlets throughout the entire house. They were fast, efficient, pleasant to deal with, and their costs were very reasonable. We had some laughs along the way, and they dealt with an unforeseen vermin issue above my ceiling with a professional attitude. It couldn't be fun to have nasty bits rain down on your head every time you make a hole in the ceiling for another pot light! These guys are really terrific. And yes, I'd recommend them to my mum.

    mult. projects

    They came on time, were quick and tidy. They answered all my questions and were good with follow up issues. I would have Geoff and Jessica back to do work in a heartbeat!

    Various Electrical Tasks

    I am currently renovating my kitchen and needed an electrician quickly to deal with some some issues between the old kitchen and the new one. I emailed Cory and he responded very quickly. A few emails later he booked me in for the earliest available opening. Then Cory gave me a call that morning and told me Jessica would be out soon. She called a little later to say she was on the way. Once she got here she dealt with the few issues I had. She was very nice and very competent, fixing everything I needed done and answering my questions along the way. A few days later I simply got an electronic invoice from Cory and paid online via Paypal. I can't believe how much better there methods is for booking and payment compared to the other companies I've been dealing with in my renovation. Cheques?? really? come on, it's 2012! Vancity Electric will be my first email for all of my future electrician needs and I would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs an electrician.

    Electrician

    I had a great experience with all the staff at WB Electric. Everyone is very friendly, respectful, helpful and on-time. I would definitely recommend them for work in your home!

    New electrical for Basement suite

    Cory and his crew were a pleasure to work with. They re-wired our basement and seperated our whole houses' electrics into two seperate systems (for code reasons). Their quality of work was excellent and they clearly explained the process and options available to us, working to keep costs low while still providing a practical end layout. They were very friendly and approchable, and their no "surprise costs' attitude was a great stress saver. I will be using Cory again.

For anyone else reading this " no surprise costs" means that the price I give you at the beginning of the job is the price you pay at the end of the job. This way you can budget and there are NO surprises. The odd time we take work out or add work but its all straight forward and added right on to the original invoice or quote which is actually stored online for both party's to see at anytime. Cheers!     Light installation

    Cory did a fantastic job installing pot lights and other work. He was efficient, tidy and completed the job on budget. I would be happy to refer wb electric to others and would certainly use the company in the future.

    Relocating dryer outlet

    WB Electric answered my email very promptly and suggested various alternatives for me to help me save money. Was very helpful and I'm very happy with the work they did.

    Full home renovation

    We have had WB Electric work on a number of projects both small and large (full renovation including removal of knob & tube) and have been very satisfied with the work. We have recommended WB Electric to our friends who have in turn recommended them to their friends. I also appreciate the online invoicing and ability to pay via visa.
