    Knob and Tube Inspection

    I got Vancity to come by to do an inspection re knob and tube. Not sure how common it is but they charge for the inspection since it's so involved. We were very happy with the inspcetion - very thorough and Jeff answered all our questions. The only thing was that they seemed to drop the ball for a few weeks when we asked for a quote on all the other work that needed to be done on the house - but in fairness they also didn't send us an invoice for the inspection until much later as well. Jeff was very apolegtic when they did send it and we still plan on using them once we start removing walls in our house:)

    Small Electrical Problem

    After a disastrous experience with another electrican I found these guys here. They were professional but friendly even though it was obviously a small job. He quoted $150 for 1 hour and thought it should be done within that time but couldn't guarantee it. Jessica arrived on time and clean (important to me) She rocked. She methodically went through all the things it could be and then she discovered that the light bulbs I replaced the old ones that had burnt out with were the wrong ones. She did this within the hour and even put in the right ones. I shall use no other.

    Bath room

    Bathroom light wasn't working vancity came in diagnose the problem and fixed it with in 10 min. Exactly the efficientsey I was wanting and got. I would recommend this company to anyone specially my family.

    electrical wiring and appliance installation

    My daughter and I have called on VanCity Electric several times for work in our homes. Jessica and Cody have done excellent work - ranging from pulling wire from the electrical panel to install new baseboard heaters in an old home (not an easy job), to rewiring an apartment kitchen, supplying and installingn pot lights and a smoke alarm, and other general work. I ask all my friends and family if they need electrical work just so that I can recommend this company. Their work is outstanding and so is their attitude. Great customer service. Great technical work.

    complete apartment renovation

    These folks are the best in the city ... enough said! I've been contracting for 10 years and wish I had found them sooner. I don't hesitate for a second to recommend them.

    basement renovation and knob and tube removal

    Cory and his team were always friendly, professional, and on time! We were very happy with their work and how clean they left the place at the end of the day. Also, we really appreciated Cory's patience with our many questions. Other contractors we have worked with showed annoyance but Cory had no problem walking us through every detail and was also patient when we changed some plans with potlights in the middle of the job. Would definitley recommend Vancity Electric!

    Pot light installs and outlet upgrades

    Vancity (Cory) did an awesome job on a surprise install of some pot lights and outlet upgrades in my living room and entry way for my wife. Although it was a small job he came by to review the project and completed it on time as promised. He did a great Job!

    Vancity Electric

    I am a West Vancouver designer and Cory (co-owner) of the Vancity Electric is by far the best electrician I have ever worked with. His disposition is extremely pleasant, he is a perfectionist and knows his trade inside out!

    Great crew, excellent workmanship and absolute professionalism

    Vancity Electric continues to wow me! They have become our house electricians when it comes to repairs, installs and additions. Cory and Geoff have put together a great crew that is ready and willing to tackle any job, big or small. The work itself is nothing short of perfection and the professionalism is second to none. In addition to work around the shop, Cory has also done work on my own home, installing a set of pot lights and LED bulbs in my kitchen, replacing an outdated fluorescent fixture. It looks absolutely fantastic! I would gladly recommend Vancity Electric to any and all of my friends and family as i'm positive they would not be disappointed.     Bathroom renovation and garage work

    We have had Cory and his team from Vancity Electric come in twice to do work for us. They did a fantastic job both times. Cory and his staff are professional, polite, reliable, and always leave the work site clean. We will be calling them for any future work we need done, and we highly recommend them to anyone looking for a great electrician. Thanks Cory!
