    winter perennial preparation, weeding and leaf clean-up

    We have been extremely happy with the Garden Girls. After dealing with other companies that either did not return our multiple calls/emails or did not show up for a job when they were scheduled: The Garden Girls have been exceptional. Not only are they very thorough and detail-oriented, but they take pride in their work and it shows. They are very hard working, reliable and provide accurate quotes. Darla has been promt and reliable from our first inquiry, which I greatly appreciate. More recently the Girls were able to fit us into their schedule within three days notice as we wanted our home to make a great first impression for my father-in-law's first visit to our new home. As an eight month pregnant woman and mother of a busy 17 month old, the Garden Girls have made my life more restful. Thank you and we look forward to your next visit.

    Flower bed clean up and laying fresh mulch

    The Garden Girls responded quickly to our request and they were able to perform the work within a week as promissed. We wanted to do some clean up of the flower beds to get our house looking neat before putting it on the market. I had weeds taller than me in my backyard and they got rid of them all. I'm glad I hired them because they did a better job than I would have ever done. The work was excellent and I had no complaints. The price was reasonable for the amount of work that was required, and she they accept Interac e-Transfers which is super convenient for us. Thank you Darla for a job well done.

    long overdue garden cleanup

    I am a Canadian living in LA, managing our TO place and property long distance. I was all over the internet looking for a landscape/garden company and found Garden Girls-yay! Darla was quick to respond, sooo easy to deal with, and also able to handle the inconvenience of billing a client (me) who is out of the country. The Garden Girls team came in and did a miraculous job cleaning up, sprucing up and hacking their way through overgrowth. Rave reviews from my tenants, but also I could see for myself with the before/after pictures that told the whole story. Darla suggested a manageable maintenance schedule, which I am relieved to have in place. The Garden Girls cleared out the overgrown outdoor parking spaces, and all along the side of the house, and weeded, cleaned, and spruced up the front-yard. Thank you, Darla!

    Garden cleanup

    I contacted Darla to help us with the garden of my house. The previous owner had a nice garden but unfortunately my husband and I have no experience in gardening, and over the summer the plants grew unchecked. Darla and her team were friendly and helpful, and they worked efficiently to bring the garden under control in a few hours. We also asked for help to record and identify the plants so that we could figure out how to take care of them. We were amazed at how much they managed to cut, trim, and prune in a matter of hours. Everything was neatly bagged for yard waste disposal. The team was cheerful and cooperative, and we enjoyed having them over. The garden looks much better now, and we look forward to working with Darla and the girls again.

    gardening

    Bought new home & garden was a jungle. Darla and her team are hardworking with many suggestions. They have made the front of the house look great and will also be transplanting some of my extra plants from the backyard to the front later this fall. The thistles and weeds in the back were waist high and they have also transformed this area. Much more work to be done but I only have them come once a month due to my budget. I would recommend them to everyone. Their pricing is very fair compared to other companies. I will probably pay about $800 for this year's work but will definitely have them back next Spring to continue the transformation.

    garden flowers

    I highly recommend the Garden Girls. The work was completed to my satisfaction. Darla offered us good advise on choice of flowers as well as very accommodating throughout the job.

    Garden clean-up and maintenance

    Darla and her girls have worked for me for 2 years, clearing and weeding my garden about once a month thru the summer. They do a thorough job every time, and are quick to respond to emails or phone calls. I am often away during the summer months so their help is invaluable to me in keeping the home looking neat and lived in.

    Weed and prune large front garden beds

    The Garden Girls showed up on time and did a spectacular job on my very overgrown and weedy beds. They thinned my day lilies, and removed many deeply rooted spreading plants that were out of control. The work was completed below estimate cost and they were very knowledgeable about all the plants. Very friendly and I will definitely be hiring them again. Thanks, ladies!

    General garden clean up and planting

    This is the second year I have used The Garden Girls. They did general clean up of the garden area, planted some flowers and made our property look nice for summer. They are fast and offer suggestions, when necessary. I had a few issues with some less-then-blooming flowers, not the Girls fault still unhappy with the quality of the flowers that did not bloom Recommend for sure.

    Hi Arlene, Thanks for your review. We do try hard on our cleanups, and we always try hard to please our customers. We cannot always be perfect however. We only buy from 3 local nurseries,and almost all of the products are supplied by the same growers. A Garden Girl stopped by one of the nurseries this weekend we discovered there is a particular mildew this summer attacking the impatients. Perhaps that is why they aren't performing as well. We noticed the supply was very small this season. Perhaps there will be something better once I return home that will fill in the gaps. Have a great remainder of your summer!     Backyard Clean-up

    Despite the best of plans, spring came and went without making any progress on cleaning up the backyard. While I enjoy my garden, I was feeling quite overwhelmed by the state of the yard and finding the time to do something about it was proving a challenge. So I finally called in the pros. Darla and the "Garden Girls" arrived and within 2 hours my yard was in fantastic shape. I really appreciated how hard the "Girls" worked and also enjoyed the sense of fun they brought to the task at hand. I keep popping outside just to admire how lovely my yard now looks. Thanks Darla and crew, I am looking forward to future projects. As a frequent user of the Homestars site with great success, I am delighted to have found another 10!
