    Not Good Enough

    Got 5 Star Cleaning because I wanted expertise for a post reno cleaning, but I just found I didn't get that for what they charge (which is significantly higher than regular cleaning people charge). Instead of sending 3 people, only two people came from 5 Star, and they did a normal job at a slower pace than other cleaners I've used in the past. Also, there were latex paint drops that 5 star couldn't remove (although they did remove some). Overall, it just felt like a lack of expertise compared to how they promote themselves and charge.

Our crew explained the risk and difficulty of removing paint caused by your painter can damage the floor.     Excellent service

    Post-renovation clean up

    I recently had my carpet removed from the second floor and replaced it with hardwood which left a ton of dust on the first and second floors. It was way too much for my to clean on my own. I looked online and found 5 star cleaning, and spoke to Danial who helped walk me through the process of how cleaning would look for me, booking a time with him, services they offer, pricing/budgeting and was attentive to COVID safety. I was very happy with the cleaning and level of communication. Will be using their services again in the future and recommend it to anyone considering hiring cleaners.

    Area Rug Cleaning

    Their business name says it all! Daniel and the team at 5 Star Cleaning providers exceptional customer and cleaning service. Very professional from the beginning of the process. Prices are very competitive and the final product were top notch. I had two area rugs that required cleaning and repair. They came to my home and picked up both, within a week, the service was completed and they delivered them back at my home. The rugs came back looking refreshed. Thank you for the wonderful service! I look forward to doing business with you again.

    House Cleaning Services

    We just moved into a new rental unit and needed deep cleaning for all our appliances, washrooms and kitchen. I had 3 cleaners arrive and they were very detailed with the cleaning and made sure to clean everything I asked for. The supervisor was very nice and explained everything before arriving. I found the company on homestars

    Water damage restoration

    They quoted me $1500 on the phone for water damage restoration service in our home. Once they came, their quote changed to $2600 which I signed and paid a deposit of $2000. They did not leave a me a copy of the invoice when they started the work. Once the job was finished a few days later, they added HST on top of my original invoice of $2600. When I questioned why the HST was not included on my invoice that I signed, they stated that they reviewed the HST amount with me after I signed it. I do not recall seeing it as they had not left me a copy of the invoice, thankfully I had taken a picture of it and showed the original signed invoice. Why would you make a customer sign and pay a deposit without stating that there is an HST amount owing on top. I assumed that when I am signing the invoice it includes the HST. On top of it, why would you not leave a copy of that invoice with your customer?? After I complained I did hear back from the manager. She stated that I only signed a work order (not an invoice) and that is why I was not provided a copy of it in the first place. They also offered to credit me $100 for future service.

Our technicians over the phone only give a rate for equipment rental and do not give a fixed price as it is very difficult to know the scope of the project over the phone. You were given a couple of options regarding your project, which to there were no complaints when the technicians left. Our price did not change, you added more services based on your project needs. All of our services include HST as it is law in Canada. The picture you have on your phone clearly shows a ‘subtotal’ amount and your signature for our work authorization. When paid for the deposit, all of the HST and pricing were filled out in detail. The technicians can not leave an invoice of the job when leaving, as the work is not completed yet or paid for in full. Lastly in our final invoice, we had included the personal number of our office manager for you to contact. We are sorry if this had caused you any inconvenience and thank you for your feedback. 5 Star Cleaning Team

    Deep cleaning for house sale

    After reading all the positive reviews, I hired 5 Star Cleaning to do a deep clean of my house in order to prepare it for sale. The job that Priscilla and her team did in my home surpassed by expectations. Every surface was cleaned, and my appliances looked like they were brand new. I would not hesitate to book them again, or to recommend their services to my friends.

    Post renovation clean

    They cleaned our multi unit residence after a major renovation project. Their crews worked around last minute construction on our end and were still able to make the place looking sparkling for our clients. They are a joy to work with and go above and beyond. In this instance it was carefully removing tape, floor protection and plenty of material/ stains from a lengthy Reno. One of their team members was wearing a Montreal Canadians hat but aside from that it went great. Wouldn’t use anybody else.

    Full renovation cleaning

    The crew came and cleaned a large site post renovation (with some work still going on). They did a wonderful job and worked around various people after months of built up construction dust. They went above and beyond removing tape, floor protection and delicately removing paint/other stains from finished surfaces. The site was left sparkling and the whole crew was wonderful to work with. One member was wearing a Montreal Canadians hat but hey no one’s perfect. I wouldn’t use anyone else for post renovation services.

    Water damage

    5 star cleaning was great. I walked into my kitchen and there was lots of water. Right away I called 5 star cleaning and they were at my house under an hour. COVID wise they were safe and took excellent precautions in terms of gear and sanitation. They put equipments and completely dried my house. The pricing was fair and easy to communicate. I would recommend 5 star cleaning, they were a fantastic company to work with.
