Tom Rando was our inspector. We hired him because he had great reviews online from past clients. He didn't let us down. He was very thorough, and outlined all issues and recommendations carefully, both in person and on the report. I would highly recommend Tom to any of our friends/family.

After reviewing so many great comments on homestars I decided to hire Clearview to inspect a home that my family was very excited about. During the inspection, Tom uncovered several issues with the home that included structural, electrical, and moisture related problems. His investigation and report made us aware of the extra money that would be required to fix these items which we had not budgeted for. Tom did a great job and we would recommend him. Thanks Tom!

We recently moved in to our new home and decided to have a home inspection with infrared scan performed. Our inspector was extremely friendly and very thorough with the task. He pointed out things that needed to corrected and things that we should be aware of in the future. We will definitely hire them again for future inspections.

Tom was very throrogh and did an excellent job. He was was very good at explaing each situation and took the time to answer email and phones calls aftwards to help explain further. Highly recomended !

Tom was awesome with both home inspections he did. Not only did Tom look out for my best interest as a potential home buyer and saved me from buying an unsuitable house, but also gave me his 'seal of approval' so to speak on the house I did buy, and am sooo incredibly happy. Tom's home inspection was not only thorough, but he did not rush the process, he was very patient with me, answered all of my questions, and explained things that should be addressed in my new home and things that I might want to think about doing down the road. I read others reviews and decided to call this company for an inspection on our new home. We wanted on unbiased report. We arrived late, but Tom had arrived early and began the inspection. He does 3 parameter inspections of everything, each floor and outside. The first on his own, the second with you and a third again to make sure all was identified. He must be the most professional and kind person ever, going above and beyond our expectations. I've had inspectors before but none you would want to call again. This company is not only the most thorough but their report and customer service is exceptional. I would recommend both Thomas and the company to anyone looking to purchase a home or wanting an inspection. We opted for the extended coverage and with the thermal camera he found all the cold spots. When buying a home it can be stressful but he not only removed all the stresses he was kind enough to inform the seller of the immediate concerns and we received a discount on the price of our home. Great experience! Tom from Clearview was very thorough and knowledgeable and friendly too which made the whole experience enjoyable in what can be a stressful time. From the first phone converstaion to the inspection itself, he explained and showed everything he was doing and went over every detail of his notes at the end of the inspection, to ensure we understood what he had done. His report is equally as detailed and we will use it as my home maintenance checklist. I would not hesitate to highly recommend this company and without a doubt would use Tom again in the future.

We recently purchased a home and hired Tom as our inspector. It was a pleasure working with him. He was punctual, thorough, friendly. He encouaged me to express any questions I might have and happily answered them... and I had a lot! We chose the most expensive package he had because we wanted to make sure our house was mold free. If you like high tech thermal cameras Tom's your man. I would highly recommend him to friends, family, and anyone reading this review.

I contacted Clearview after purchasing a house in Mississauga. This was my first purchase and I really didn't know what I was getting into. All I knew was that I wanted the best possible inspection I could get. Traveling a lot and not having a lot of time on my hands meant that I wanted a house that would be problem free. Tom came and did what I can only describe as a military inspection. He conducted an inspection of the outside, main level, basement and upstairs. His approach was very methodical. He would do an inspection, walk me around the area he inspected, then use the infrared scanner and give me points along the way. The experience with Tom was excellent, he was honest about the facts, picked up on potential issues that may arise and gave me his professional opinion on nearly everything. He answered all my questions and spent as much time needed on any inquiry I had.
