Great service! Tom was very courteous and helpful, and was able to schedule a home inspection on very short notice. Vahn who conducted the inspection was very thorough. He pointed out issues both small and large, explained their significance, and provided tips to upgrade or maintain the house. I was also really impressed with the home inspection report provided afterwards. Much more complete than others I have seen! All in all, very happy with Clearview and would definitely recommend them to others!

I wanted a home inspection on a new home I had bought in Port Hope and having been impressed with the home inspection that was done on the house I sold in Toronto I hired the same company. Clearview didn't fail me! Tom's inspection was thorough and complete. He walked me through each stage to ensure my understanding and provided a comprehensive report. I would not hesitate to recommend Clearview.

We had the full inspection as we were purchasing a 95 year old home. It took quite a long time in total to do the inspection, the infrared scan and the air (mold) test, but we received much more information than we thought we would. We received a full report with photos, notes and examples of what things should look like vs. what they actually look like; a very handy reference tool that we will be using as we move forward. Would I rather pay less and get someone to be in and out in an hour+ and tell me it's basically a good house, only to find out after moving in that there are many issues to address, as is often the case? Not a chance. We wanted to know exactly what we were walking into before it happened, and we found that out plus a whole lot more. We know (with as much certainty as possible without ripping down walls) what our house will need as far as maintenance, repairs, to-dos and 'immediate action' items. We know there are some things to address, so we are well-prepared. Tom was extremely knowledgeable, helpful, thorough, and clear in his explanations of everything that he noted. He took the time to make sure that we understood and he answered all questions at the time and followed up to see if we had questions about the report at a later date. I can be quite a particular person when it comes to details and accuracy, and I am extremely pleased with the level of detail and customer service that we received. Bob completed a home inspection for us for a 20 year old home in the suburb that we are considering to purchase. Communication from Bob throughout the entire process was very clear, and he was always responsive. He was also on time with the appointment, and completed a very thorough inspection, and encouraged us to ask questions along the way and shadow him. He was also very patient in explaining things that he saw, and providing helpful recommendations. Overall we are very happy with the service provided by Bob and Clearview. The infrared scan was a very useful service that we opted for, and it helped detect several areas where insulation was missing in the home.

I had Clearview provide a home inspection before finalizing a purchase of a new home. From the initial set up to the final delivery of the report they did a great job. The inspector himself was punctual and thorough while taking the time to explain to me what he was looking for, why and what I should be doing moving forward. Even my agent asked him for a card as we were both impressed. I would gladly recommend Clearview and would surely work with them again should the need arise.
