Tom was fantastic and I would recommend him without hesitation. He answered my initial phone call promptly, and was not pushy or aggressive with trying to sell me additional inspection types. He arrived at the site location early, and quickly did a roof inspection prior to my arrival as it looked like it might rain, and he would not have been able to get up on the roof in the rain. He was very open to all my questions during the inspection, and provided clear explanations. He emailed me the final report the evening of the inspection, and then responded to my additional questions very quickly. I will be calling him the next time I need a house inspection.

Tom made the inspection process easy, clear and informative. He went through every room, and then took us through step by step and answered all of our questions. His knowledge was invaluable because it provided unbiased answers.

I recently purchased a $2.5 million dollar home and went with Clearview Home & Property Inspectors and found it to be a well worth service. Tom was very personable and knowledgeable, and an effective communicator. Although this was not my first new home purchase, I knew that having a thorough inspection with full photography of all the work deficiencies would be beneficial in being able to relay to the builder what needed to be done prior to me taking possession. I basically took the report to the vendor/builder and had them document in writing that they would address all the issues Tom had pointed out during his inspection. I would definitely use Clearview Home inspectors again!

I used Clearview Home & Property Inspections for a recent home purchase. Tom performed the inspection for the house and I was very impressed by his work. His strategy of inspecting each section of the house first and then walking you through to show item(s) of concern was great. At the conclusion of the inspection I left knowing a great deal about my potential new house. Most importantly my customer service experience didn't change even after he was paid - same care was given to me when I had more questions relating to the inspection. Excellent company and inspector - you can't go wrong.

Super job! Tom from Clearview helped me understand the issues with older homes (approx. 1920), and prepared me with the information for planned work that needs to be done. I really liked the positive and creative approach while looking at potential issues within the home. I also very much liked the thorough explanation of each question I brought up. I'm extremely satisfied, but more importantly confident in my decision to move forward with the purchase of this home.

We moved into a semi last fall, and we did not have a recent home inspection. Tom provided a very detailed overview about all the things we needed to be aware of in maintaining our home. As first tie home owners, it was very educational, and we're grateful for his patience and in depth knowledge. We had other home inspections done during the home-buying process, but we didn't know what we were missing - We were very impressed with Tom's approach. We would absolutely recommend Clearview to friends and family. We had the extended home inspection done, and it was worth every penny.

We had 2 inspections prior to the purchase of our home. 1 year later we have run into some significant issues, and needed another assessment. Tom was highly recommended and did not disappoint.
