I was extremely happy with the service provided by Clearview Home and Property. The inspector was very thorough and took the time to explain his findings and show me in person or via pictures where there were potential issues. They also provided a very detailed report so I didn't have to worry about taking notes. Overall, I was impressed with the professionalism displayed both from the initial phone contact right through to the inspection and subsequent follow-up to ensure I was satisfied with results.

Tom was a professional and very courteous. He arrived on time and explained how he was going to go about the inspection. He walked me through the issues he discovered, no matter how minor, and answered all my questions. The issues were not necessarily red flags to worry about, but things I should address over time. He emailed a report later that evening, and is willing to answer any questions after the fact. The report included the issues he pointed out with pictures so I did not have to take notes during the inspection. I also used the infrared camera service which for the small extra cost was well worth it. It looks for any heat losses along the walls and windows to look for any sources of heat loss. Quite the tool.

Tom did a thorough, professional job. He took the time to walk us through and explain all his findings. The final report was fully detailed and was received in a timely manner.

Clearview home Inspections was fantastic as we required their services on extremely short notice. We had made an offer on a property in which we required an inspection within 24 hours or would be faced with a bidding war. Tom was very patient and accommodating to us and was able to arrange an inspection within approximately 12 hours of our request (We spoke to him @ 9 pm and had Vahn, our inspector at the property by noon the following day). Vahn, our inspector was also very good. He took plenty of time to review all of the homes major structural components and then some. He was very knowledgeable and took time to answer all of our questions. We did not feel rushed and he made sure we understood everything that he had inspected. Once the inspection was complete, we also received a detailed report via email within a few days summarizing all of the details from the inspection. I would definitely use Tom and his inspectors again and would not hesitate to highly recommend them to anyone in need of a inspection. Thanks Tom!

The home inspection provided a good general inspection of the challenges we may face in owning the home - Tom was available on short notice and was professional in describing what a home inspection will address and what it will not cover. His report was completed within 24 hours and will be a useful source of future renovation work.

Trying to coordinate both my agent and seller for my home inspection was challenging, so a big THANKS goes out to TOM for accommodating my multiple time/date changes, your patience and understanding was greatly appreciated. As mentioned by most of the other reviews, Clearview’s inspectors were always on time, and this instance was no exception. VAHN, (the home inspector) had already began assessing the exterior surroundings of the house prior to my arrival. I was with him every step of the way, and at times where I became distracted; he re-focused me by pointing out areas of concern/interest. He was EXTREMELY thorough and detailed, taking the time to review all of his findings with me at the end of the inspection which was very useful. I would rate my experience a 10/10 and would recommend and reuse their services.

My family and I are extremely happy with the inspection that Bob performed on our new house. The house is 23 years old. Bob was very helpful with pointing out at all the things we have to know, showed us some areas that need to be fixed and paid attention to. Bob was very professional, knowledgeable, and attentive to details both inside and outside the house; he was very patient, respectful and responsible. The report was delivered the same day; all necessary things were mentioned in details. We have been very pleased with Bob’s services. Thank you Bob and the Clearview team, very much!

Tom Rando came to perform a property inspection after we had recently purchased a house in Toronto. Tom was extremely professional and showed up with all of the necessary equipment. He was very clear in his process and stuck to it for the entire inspection. His process was to conduct an inspection in one portion of the house for about 30 minutes and then request the homeowner to come and review that area of the house with him. He was extremely thorough and provided great insight into our house. In the end, what was most important to me was the insight I got from his deep industry knowledge and experience. Well done Tom and please keep up the good work of making homeowners feel comfortable with their recent purchase!
