Our inspector Tom was very pleasant and professional, and thorough with the inspection. I found his report detailed enough and easy to understand. Pictures of items that needed attention were very helpful. I was very satisfied with the inspection and process, and would recommend Clearview.

I was very satisfied with Tom's work and recommendations. He arrived early, followed up on all items and was very enthusiastic. It looks like we found a problem, which potentially saved me thousands of dollars. The infrared camera detected two areas in the basement that could be potential water leaks and sure enough it was. We also found a couple of other minor problems. Needless to say I would definitely recommend Tom and his company.

After reading glowing reviews on Homestars, I had no hesitation calling Clearview to do a pre-purchase home inspection. Sure enough, they lived up to the high expectations. The inspection was thorough and covered all the major aspects of the home (roof, electrical, plumbing, foundation, exterior, heating, testing appliances). The whole process was not at all rushed, and our inspector was happy to explain things as many times as needed, as well as answer all our questions. Best of all, he was happy to take questions after the inspection! I would absolutely recommend Clearview for a home inspection!

Perfect!! It was a pleasure meeting Tom. He was a big help in making our decision easier at the time we were putting in an offer. He was easy to speak with and also very understanding. I feel that he truly had our best interests at heart and treated the home inspection as if he was inspecting it for himself. Apart from being an excellent home inspector, he is also a very good person and I highly recommend him to everyone.

Awesome inspection! The infrared camera scan have prompted the sellers to take down the drywall to see exactly where and the extent of the water and potential mold damage. The problem came from the windows at the side of the house and cracked sill outside the kitchen door to be the culprit (it wasn't due to a crack in the foundation, thank goodness!). The sellers will now replace the kitchen sill by a professional masonry company, and will take $1500 off the price of the house for my husband to put the basement dry walls back up. Thank you again for your home inspection! We are recommending you to everyone we know! :) p.s. The infrared camera was totally worth it!

My husband and I were very satisfied with our home inspection. Tom walked us through the home inspection process encouraging us to ask many questions and taking the time to answer each one thoroughly and in terms that we could understand. We appreciated having an opportunity to look at each floor individually with Tom and were impressed by the detailed individualized analysis that he provided. He is quite knowledgeable and was able to not only relay information in very simple terms but also to suggest remedial or maintenance work and prioritize those items for us in terms of the level of urgency associated with the various repairs. The infrared camera was not only cool, but very helpful in looking for evidence of issues behind walls or in ceilings. In fact, using the infrared camera,Tom caught a leak in the roof that not even the sellers had spotted and we were able to get that issue repaired immediately. Tom made himself available for a follow-up inspection on very short notice once the roof repair had been completed and he was able to satisfy himself that the remedial work had been done properly. In sum, we were very pleased with the inspection and follow-up inspection and would recommend ClearView (Tom in particular!) to anyone.

Absolutely great inspection. We contacted Tom to inspect our new home so that we could completed the tarion 30 day warranty form. Tom was able to identify many items that my wife and I may not have found. The report was very comprehensive and very helpful. Overall, we are very pleased with the inspection we received and are happy to recommend Tom.
