You get what you pay for I say and I got the best inspection possibile. Tom's experience and sharp eye delivered a thorough report on both the interior and exterior of a wonderful home that we were considering for purchase. He immediately pointed out deficiencies which were big and small He then sent a detailed inspection report that same night with photos and comments which we were able to share with the Seller's Reator. The Seller's Realtor immediately called the air quality company and roofer to determine why there was mold-like substance in the attic when the roof was only 3 yrs old and the amount it would cost to remove it. The end result was an reduction of several thousand dollars off the purchase price. Best money I've spent in years!! Thanks so much Tom for your work, forthright manner and professionalism throughout this home buying process.

We hired ClearView Home Inspections to perform an inspection on a new construction home. Our experience with this company was great. Tom was extremely friendly and very thorough. He took the time to explain things in detail and even helped fix a small issue with our furnace. His report provided us with a valuable list of deficiencies and damages to bring to our builders attention. We just recently purchased a home and were in need of a home inspector the next day. We decided on ClearView from the HomeStars reviews and it was an EXCELLENT choice! From the beginning to the end, Tom was AMAZING!! He arrived ahead of our scheduled time to prepare for the inspection and explained the entire process before he began. He removed his shoes and treated our new home like his own. He was courteous, patient and understanding. Every question I had (and there were many), Tom answered and provided sound advice. He was also hands on and demonstrated exactly how our house worked (ie. windows, furnace, filters etc.). I found this extremely helpful as a first time home owner. We used the infrared camera and though controversial, it provided us with peace of mind and did in fact show some areas for improvement. For the slight added cost, I would recommend it. I would recommend Tom to anyone and I have already started to spread the word. Our home inspection was excellent, thorough and professional. We received our report via email the same night and it gave us the confidence we needed in buying our new house! Thank you so much Tom for all of your help and in teaching me about our new home. I learned so much last week and I now feel much more confident in being a new home owner. Very professional! It was a pleasure meeting Tom. I had read reviews about his punctuality but did not expect him to show up 1.5hrs early for the inspection! By the time that we arrived, Tom was able to inspect the roof already since we could not follow him up there. He was easy to speak with and very encouraging of questions throughout the process. Tom took his time to inspect every part of the house and explained all his findings thoroughly. He also produced a very thorough report for us to review and was always willing to discuss our concerns after the inspection. I highly recommend him to everyone!

The best inspector! We just had Tom inspect a house for us and couldn’t be happier with the level of service he provides, his knowledge, and expertise. This isn't our first home, but I’ve never been Mr. Handy. Tom offered many easy to follow tips we can follow to keep our home in excellent shape and ensure that no issues arise with our house in the future. He spent a great of time examining every detail of the home, and then explaining to us what he found, and why he came to certain conclusions and recommendations. We received the final inspection report the same day and found the final report to be extremely detailed. Thank you for doing such an amazing detailed job!

Fantastic Inspection. I purchased this older home in the 100 year old range, and was extremely happy with the inspection performed. Our inspector Tom was very knowledgable and willing to explain his findings in detail with me, despite my endless list of questions. He arrived to the house before I did, and was very thorough. My real estate agent was also impressed, and said that she would be using Clearview's services in the future. Thanks Tom for a great job.

#1 inspector! ..I would highly recommend Tom at Clearview Home Inspections. He is professional, reliable, punctual, thorough, and detailed. Willing to come on short notice (i.e., same day in my case). He encouraged us to ask questions and repeated that there are "No silly questions". As he works, he explains what he's looking for and what he's doing in a clear, easy to understand way. Very responsive to follow up questions after the inspection. I wouldn't hesitate to call him if I ever need another home inspection. Money well spent

Tom provided the most thorough inspection I've ever had. He was incredibly polite, friendly and genuinely seemed to enjoy doing the inspection and giving very thorough answers to our many, many questions. He followed up with an excellent report which addressed all the problems involving the property. This was a great document to have and he provided it immediately. I'd definitely recommend him.
